Structures : Supports aircraft structures, including repairs and modifications for metallic and composite parts.
Avionics : Manages avionics systems, including navigation, communications, and advanced IFE systems.
Powerplant : Oversees engines and APUs, focusing on health monitoring and optimization.
Cabin : Maintains passenger cabins, flight decks, and retrofits, ensuring top-notch comfort and functionality.
Each team ensures our fleet operates efficiently and safely, meeting all technical and service standards.
As a Technical Services Engineer I you will provide fleet technical management, continuing airworthiness management and technical support functions for Emirates fleet to ensure compliance to regulatory & safety requirements, reliability, passenger comfort and cost effectiveness.
In This Role You Will
- Provide fleet technical management, continuing airworthiness management and technical support functions for assigned section, ie Airframe, Structures, Avionics, PowerPlant and Cabin Interior.
- Routinely evaluate manufacturers/regulatory authorities’ technical documents, taking appropriate actions and update internal engineering documents including Engineering Order and Special Engineering Workcard.
- Review in-service data (e.g Tech log, Pilot Reports, Defects) and implement actions to improve fleet, engine, component and/or system reliability and maintainability, including optimisation of aircraft maintenance programs.
- Deliver technical assistance and operational support in disruptions scenarios including the handling of technical/AOG, troubleshooting, aircraft chronic and deferred defects and technical delays.
- Carry out Emirates Engineering design organisational activities such as but not limited to development of standard operating procedures, in house repairs, use of alternate parts, deviations from manufacturing documents by exercising Design Engineer (DE) privileges of Part 21 Design Organisation as appointed by Head of Design (HOD).
- Provide support and expertise for acquisition of new Aircraft and end of lease activities.
- Act as a technical liaison with Aircraft, Engines and/or Component Manufacturers and internal stakeholders (e.g flight operations, service delivery) to address fleet significant faults, defects, design issues and quality escapements.
- Provide technical clarifications/justification to internal stakeholders in support of cost optimisation, contract negotiation, repair and modification processes.
- Carry out project management functions such as but not limited to major modifications, retrofits, cabin reconfigurations and aircraft phaseout requirements including preparation of cost benefit studies or budget requirements on changes/repairs with recommendations/proposals for approval by management.
- Review and analyse technical data in support of department KPIs, highlighting trends and making recommendation reports/proposal for improvement.
To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent),
- More than 10 years of experience in Engineering, Aeronautical
- Degree in Aeronautical/Avionics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence for 5 years.
- Related Aircraft Engineering experience.
- Should have a minimum of 8 years in Technical Services function of which at least 5 year of experience pertaining to Emirates fleet type/aircraft systems.
- Knowledge of latest technical developments and industry trends on respective systems.
- Ability to analyse and synthesise technical information for implementation in cost effective ways.
- Excellent drafting/report writing skills.
- Demonstrable experience in managing complex tasks and decision making in a fast paced environment.

In this role, you will ensure complete customer satisfaction by diligently resolving all customer requests relating to the installation and service of our products.
Your Impact- Execute jobs in line with defined standard operating procedures
- Achieve field performance (TTS, FTFR and JMR3)
- Manage stock of parts and guarantee a high-level of inventory record accuracy
- Educate customers in the technical use and care of Technogym equipment
- Execute effective root cause analyses of product issues, with the goal of identifying the proper parts to be used and determining the appropriate solution
- Properly manage work orders (i.e. including all requested information based on assigned standard operating procedures)

The Field Service Engineer for RH Aero’s vast GSE product line, including COBRA turbine engine change system and GE Aerospace’s Foam Wash products, interfaces with the OEM, customer, and internal manufacturing/product development teams to manage all aspects of product development, design improvements, customer training, and onsite tech support. This individual will work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute technical projects both externally and internally with our manufacturing capabilities, supply chain, and sales team.
The Field Service Technician uses all technical documents and established processes to train, repair, maintain, upgrade, install, and troubleshoot specialized electrical hydro-mechanical products such as the COBRA turbine engine change system and GE Aerospace’s Foam Wash product line.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Be the first point of contact and solution for customer technical product questions to ensure optimal customer experience and product reliability.
- Lead and conduct the management and implementation of new product installations, commissioning, including upgrades or modifications at customer sites.
- Understand, articulate, and provide proper usage training to customers at their installation sites.
- Review technical documents including tool drawings, electrical/hydraulic schematics, parts lists, and instructions for design, manufacturing, installation, and operation issues. Disassemble tooling and equipment, identify modifications, and manage logistics for modifications, upgrades, repairs, and tests.
- Provide troubleshooting expertise to assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions for design, manufacturing, electronic, software, or hydromechanical issues.
- Oversee product configuration management to ensure performance consistency and alignment with design.
- Participate in product strategy development to recommend technical solutions for market growth.
- Manage specific projects, products, and services within the assigned region in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Ability to lead and collaborate in an entrepreneurial environment.
- In-depth knowledge or equivalent experience with advanced tools and equipment related to modifications, upgrades, repairs, calibrations, training, and troubleshooting of complex equipment.
- 4-year technical degree or 10+ years of related aviation experience preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% per year.
- Experience in customer-facing roles with skills in electrical, hydro-mechanical, assembly, disassembly, testing, and operating complex aviation equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems like Epicor is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.

+ Work on Day-to-Day Incident Resolution & Request Fulfilment aligned to ITIL Framework for End User Support ( Laptop / Desktop / VDI )
+ Involved with IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) for Desktops, Laptops, Monitors, Printers and other IT Equipment and Peripherals as needed, between desks, floors or buildings as required.
+ Learn new and emerging technologies as needed, guided by business requirements.
**Requirements and Preferences:**
+ Experience in End User Computing / IT Support needed
+ Good understanding of Desktop / Laptop Hardware and understanding of Imaging and OS Reinstall process
+ Good troubleshooting skills in Windows, Office, COTS & End User Hardware Support
+ Basic understanding of ITL Framework and experience in using ITSM Tools like Service Now, Remedy etc.
+ Good Communication Skills (Written & Spoken) in English
+ Ability to physically perform general office requirements like moving systems, monitors or other IT related equipment and boxes
+ Willingness to work on rotational shifts
+ Experience on Network / Data Centre related Smart Hands activities will be an added advantage
+ Travel including overnight domestic may be required
