Oliver Wyman’s Energy and Natural Resources team helps leading companies and government entities in the Energy sector to address strategic and operational challenges through proven, results-oriented approaches across all sectors of the market. THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ASSOCIATE : Break down complex problems into discrete tasks, identifying the key aspects of a problem and directing the focus of junior consultants to those elements. You will effectively plan and execute analysis as well as identify the core issues in complex analyses to craft suitable recommendations. You’ll work side by side with clients and your project team members to move projects forward and manage small teams to get the work done.

ENGAGEMENT MANAGERS : Are the on-scene leaders who run our projects day to day. You will lead the team through an efficient and effective problem-solving process from initial thought process through convergence on a solution. You will ensure that recommendations are correct, practical, sensible, relevant, and cohesive.

YOUR ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 4 - 10 years of relevant experience , ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or a leading Energy company.
• Specific consulting and operating experience in Energy (Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Power & Water, Environment, Mining & Metals).
• Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Willingness to travel.
• Initiative in learning new skills and applying existing ones.
• Creativity in problem-solving.
• Aptitude for analytical work, including data analysis.
• A willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with our team.
