- The Cyber Security Associate is an entry Job and can perform a variety of positions across GISD including Cyber Defense Center, Cyber Operations, Governance Risk and Compliance, Resilience, PMO, Privacy Operations and Engineering Functions.
- The Cyber Security Associate will be participating and leading projects delivery in a cross functional manner inside or outside GISD.
Key accountabilities of the role:
- Support ADIB teams in data security assessments.
- Work on a wide variety of tasks including research and internal process, engineering, and operations.
- Create reports and recommendations based on trainee findings, including the security issues uncovered and level of risk.
- Plan and create penetration methods, scripts, and tests.
- Present security findings, risk and conclusions to management and other relevant parties
- Understand how the flaws/Risks that is identified could affect a business, or business function, if they’re not fixed.
- Monitor and report on new and emerging threats to security in the Technology arena.
- Participate and assist in GISD projects and communication to stakeholders outside GISD.
- Complete assigned training on time and with the acceptable success rate.
Specialist skills / technical knowledge required for this role:
- Recent Graduates from a Reputable University in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT or related education.
- Quick learner and adaptable
- Work in a highly motivated work environment
- Basic knowledge of Cyber Security domains
- Basic knowledge of Risk frameworks
- Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility, persistence, and willingness to work on a variety of activities/ tasks.
- Good understanding of trends and developments in the areas of Information Security and Risk Management.
- Basic knowledge of Information Security principles and practices.

- Strong threat detection, analysis, and mitigation skills.
- Proficiency in gathering and analyzing threat intelligence from internal and external sources.

- Ability to lead incident response efforts with a calm and structured approach.
