Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare, sign and submit pigging, daily, express and other relevant reports
- Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, tool box and all other required tools for use in the field
- Study and analyze project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents
- Establish professional contact with client's field personnel creating friendly working relations
- Execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in accordance with PipeCare QA/QC procedures and in line with time, resource and financial planning
- Coordinate field activities between PipeCare team, subcontractor, client and other involved parties
- Perform ILI runs successfully without data loss as per POF & API standards
- Conduct sufficient cleaning runs to the established PipeCare cleaning criteria
- Conduct site survey and DGPs Survey in line with PipeCare procedures and operational requirement
- Execute all other tasks as requested by Team Leader within the assigned job role.
Qualified Candidates will possess:
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant)
- Experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate level
- Professional level of English language is a must

Reporting to the Service Team Leader, the Service Technician, will take responsibility for supporting and servicing all products and clients for NOV's Process & Flow Technologies business within the Middle East market. Your existing knowledge within electrical and mechanical servicing of pump products including reciprocating/Centrifugal and/or Progressive cavity pumps & chokes will be critical to your success in this role. As Service Technician, you will liaise with internal stakeholders of our Dubai site and manage your daily, weekly and monthly schedule in an efficient manner to maintain strong customer relations with the support we offer. Key to this role will be your ability to drive continual improvement processes, enhancing efficiency and performance within our industrial markets and delivering technically competent installations, commissioning, servicing and maintenance support to our customers.
Developing our business goes hand in hand with developing our people's skills, with the support of the Service Team Leader in your region, you will be open to career progression and continued self-development to reach personal and business goals.
An ability to prepare and carry out product training and assist the sales team with technical queries will also be required as part of the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaise with NOV project teams and management, Client and Vendors relating to their allocated installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance activities
- Prepare, review and approve work packs required for the above related activities
- Co-ordinate with on-site sub contract labour as required for above activities
- Undertake installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up operations of process plant in line with NOV procedures, including but not limited to:
- P&ID walk downs
- Mechanical completion checks
- Factory acceptance tests

- Leak testing/pressure testing
- Train operators and client personnel in use of process plant and equipment in line with NOV operation and maintenance manuals Must ensure that company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered to at all times.
- Arrange services and work with all involved departments to meet needs of customers and production schedules.
- Maintain contact with plant operational personnel to build long-term relationship/database of customer feedback
- Under management direction, provide after sales services including inspections, spares, advice/recommendations, liaising with engineering departments as necessary.
- Be fully familiar and fully conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times
- Provide HSEQ leadership ensuring personal compliance with legislation and Company policies
- Regular travel to customer sites when required
- Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
- 5-7 years Field/Service experience of one or more product lines.
- Pump Mechanical/Electrical Experience 5 years + within installation, commissioning, servicing and/or maintenance team environments.
- Working knowledge and experience in Reciprocating/Centrifugal and/or Progressive Cavity pumps.
- ONC/HNC /HND in relevant Engineering. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Interpretation of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Previous Oil & Gas experience in the Middle East.
- Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of industry standards.
