**Job Summary**
The Technical Account Manager will act as a trusted advisor to our customers to help ensure efficient Palo Alto Networks' Unit 42 Managed Services adoption. In this role, you will work closely with CISOs, Security Architects, Security Engineers, and Operations teams within mid-to-large enterprises to implement best-in-breed Managed Detection and Response & Managed Threat Hunting services. The end result is increased customer satisfaction, value, retention, and expansion of the Unit 42's security footprint.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Manage a global customer portfolio, providing dedicated support to organizations across EMEA, JAPAC, and the US, adapting to various regional requirements and business cultures.
+ Ensure customers maximize their return on investment by guiding onboarding, driving adoption, and fostering satisfaction and advocacy.
+ Ensure customers are measurably satisfied with the service and proactively communicate refresh needs and available options.
+ Build trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders, executive sponsors, and partners to maximize adoption and business value.
+ Serve as the first line of defense in customer support, coordinating with engineering teams for timely resolution of issues and becoming a Subject Matter Expert over time.
+ Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding service offerings, updates, events, and act as the primary point of contact for feedback.
+ Advocate for customers internally to influence product roadmap, service improvements, and best practices.
+ Manage performance metrics including CSAT, renewal rate, referenceability, adoption, consumption, and customer engagement. Identify renewal risks and work with internal teams to remediate.
+ Identify risks to customers achieving their business goals and collaborate with account teams to build mitigation plans or escalate as needed.
**Qualifications**

+ 4+ years of relevant experience in customer success, consulting, post-sales technical account management, or similar roles, with experience in cybersecurity
+ Proven experience building and executing customer engagement programs in an evolving organization.
+ Strong consulting and project management skills, with a track record of acting as a trusted advisor to drive business value.
+ Experience managing escalations, balancing customer expectations, and negotiating successful resolutions.

**Your Impact**
+ Manage and support the Strategic Gulf Governments Agreement initiatives for Public Sector working closely with local leadership, and cross-functional teams, including SE, legal, sales and marketing
+ Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful program execution with framework stakeholders and/or partners
+ Take active role in stakeholder management and communication to assess any risk or issue that requires an immediate response through a dedicated action or decision
+ Incorporate diverse array of concepts, methodologies, strategies, learning tools & practices adhering to self directed learning principles & practices
+ Partner with the local leadership team to develop and execute frame agreement processes that generate closer relationships with government and critical infrastructure entities - Some of the work will also include communication with external advisors and other stakeholders

**Qualifications**
**Your Experience**
+ 5+ years experience in IT sales, business development or a strategic/Channel sales supporting role
+ Public Framework expertise and knowledge are mandatory
+ Cybersecurity experience is preferred although we will consider other areas of IT expertise
+ Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple organisations and field sellers
+ Experience of working in or closely with channel partners, global SI's, and Managed Service Providers
+ Executive relationship building, listening, influencing, communication, and facilitation skills
+ Experience in risk management for large transitions
+ Demonstrated ability to facilitate change in a matrixed environment

The Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning how we best serve our customers in understanding their environment, providing solution guidance and ensuring value realization in their investment with Palo Alto Networks. As a Solutions Consultant you provide technical leadership and expertise and guidance in your customer's security transformation journey. You will play a key role in defining technical solutions that secure a customer's key business imperatives and ensuring value realization of their investment with Palo Alto Networks. You evangelize our industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security operations services that establish PANW as your customer's cybersecurity partner of choice.

+ Demonstrating strong communication skills, influencing through effective presentations and customer-specific demos, and conducts technical engagements and workshops that are clear and impactful, simplifying complex ideas for various audiences
+ Leading successful technical validation efforts based on best practices to ensure technical win in assigned opportunities

**Qualifications**
**Your Experience**
+ 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering
+ Skilled in at least one of the following Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE
+ Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives is preferred
+ Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, either in a customer-facing or internal role; prior experience in a pre-sales role is ideal
+ Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements
+ Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing one or more of the following solutions: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies
+ Partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions
+ Experience in complex sales involving long sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions are preferred
+ This is a field sales position where travel requirements may be required to support in person customer meetings, please discuss with the recruiter on the specifics for this position.
