**Job Description:**
**Civil Inspector (Infrastructure)**
**Abu Dhabi, UAE**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented civil inspector (infrastructure)to join our team! In this role you will get to perform continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Ensure that all construction works are performed in strict accordance with the plans and specifications.
+ Report to the ARE or RE any failure of the Contractor to perform the work as per the drawings and specifications and to provide good workmanship.
+ Maintain a detailed diary of the day's work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labor and equipment used, etc. and sign at the end of each day as directed by the ARE.
+ Interface with the public and stake holders adjacent to the work to mitigate the construction impacts.
+ Coordinate with the contractor's site engineers in charge of the work on a daily basis to advise on the proper execution of the work.
+ Coordinate with the other disciplines inspectors and arrange for sampling and testing of satisfactorily completed work, and quality assurance testing of suspect materials.
+ Coordinate with the Surveyors to check the line and grade of ready work and completed work for conformance with the plans and specifications.
+ Report questionable methods of operation by the Contractor to the ARE or to the RE.
+ Report to the ARE or RE any failure of the Contractor to perform the work as per the drawings and specifications and to provide good workmanship.
+ Process the Inspection Requests and maintain records of their status.
+ Maintain detailed records of work performed by the contractor in case the work is performed on a Day Works basis.
+ Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Assistant Resident Engineer and the project safety representatives.
+ Act in a professional way but firm in dealings with the Contractor.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil or Construction Engineering.
+ Minimum 5+ years of demonstrable experience in all aspects of road/infrastructure construction supervision and storm water projects.
+ Must be able to read the shop drawings, method statements and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment.
+ Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.
+ Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project team.
+ ADM / DMT projects experience preferred.

**Material Inspector**

**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Prepares inspection reports and site records.
+ Performs civil and structural tests, such as soil compaction, moisture content, aggregation, graduation, concrete slump, air entrainment, concrete compression, lines and grades surveys, bolt torques and concrete coring.
+ Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
+ Verifies equipment alignment and balancing operations.
+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
+ Receive material inspection requests (MIR) from contractor, inspect civil materials delivered at site and report on quantity and technical compliance and sign off requests.

+ Keep, monitor and follow up as necessary and maintain complete record(s) concerning the execution of the works.

**Job Description:**
**Material QA/QC Engineer**
**Abu Dhabi, UAE**
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Test asphalt, concrete, and soil; maintain accurate, up‑to‑date test logs and material traceability.
+ Monitor sampling, testing, and deliveries; verify mix designs, equipment calibration, and compliance with approvals and standards.
+ Review and process contractor material and technical submittals (materials, method statements, ITPs, inspection requests); coordinate and perform site inspections to confirm compliance with specifications and approved materials.
+ Identify, document, and track material non‑conformances; verify corrective actions and support audits, handover, and compliance reporting through complete quality records.
+ Implement the project QMS and Quality Plans; ensure consistent QA/QC and HSE application across contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
+ Coordinate and oversee subconsultants performing material testing; act as focal point for scheduling, controlling, and tracking construction materials and related equipment.
+ Maintain project material records, office files, and daily diaries; prepare daily reports, quality updates, and other required documentation.
+ Verify that delivered materials match approvals and are stored, handled, and protected correctly on site.
+ Perform engineering calculations and assist in preparing graphs, charts, and quality control procedures and reports.
+ Collect and file CoCs, MSDS, inspection tags, and other material documentation; provide technical guidance to junior staff and support job safety practices and reporting.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ B.Sc. degree in Engineering (Civil or related discipline).
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in roads and infrastructure projects.
+ Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
+ Thorough familiarity with construction processes and practices relevant to roads and infrastructure.
+ Preferably experienced working within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, including dealing with local authorities for approvals.
+ Equivalency certificate (as applicable to Abu Dhabi/UAE regulations).
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Demonstrated ability to comply with multiple client, authority, and industry requirements applicable to complex infrastructure projects.
+ Experience with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9000, ASME, ANSI, ASTM and similar organizations.
+ Strong coordination and communication skills within multi-disciplinary site teams.
+ Experience within Construction Supervision environment is preferred.
+ Strong awareness of health and safety; capable of recognizing hazardous conditions and initiating appropriate actions.
+ Sound judgment, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
+ Well‑organized, with strong documentation, reporting, and record‑keeping skills.

**Job Description:**
**Civil Inspector**
**Abu Dhabi, UAE**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Civil Inspector** to join our team! In this role you will get to perform continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and specifications.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Ensure that all construction works are performed in strict accordance with the plans and specifications.
+ Report to the ARE or RE any failure of the Contractor to perform the work as per the drawings and specifications and to provide good workmanship.
+ Maintain a detailed diary of the day's work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labor and equipment used, etc. and sign at the end of each day as directed by the ARE.
+ Interface with the public and stake holders adjacent to the work to mitigate the construction impacts.
+ Coordinate with the contractor's site engineers in charge of the work on a daily basis to advise on the proper execution of the work.
+ Coordinate with the other disciplines inspectors and arrange for sampling and testing of satisfactorily completed work, and quality assurance testing of suspect materials.
+ Coordinate with the Surveyors to check the line and grade of ready work and completed work for conformance with the plans and specifications.
+ Report questionable methods of operation by the Contractor to the ARE or to the RE.
+ Report to the ARE or RE any failure of the Contractor to perform the work as per the drawings and specifications and to provide good workmanship.
+ Process the Inspection Requests and maintain records of their status.
+ Maintain detailed records of work performed by the contractor in case the work is performed on a Day Works basis.
+ Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Assistant Resident Engineer and the project safety representatives.
+ Act in a professional way but firm in dealings with the Contractor.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering or related discipline.
+ Minimum 5+ years of experience in road and infrastructure construction supervision, including stormwater projects.
+ Strong ability to interpreting shop drawings, method statements and construction specifications, with a strong understanding of construction processes and site supervision.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering/construction software used for project supervision, reporting, and documentation
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
+ Previous experience working on ADM/DMT projects is preferred.
