Job overview at a glance

ELEVATE is looking for a passionate professional to strengthen our ESG Supply Chains Due Diligence services in the European and Middle East markets. 

As a Senior Consultant you will support our clients, improving their sustainability performance and in fulfilling their due diligence obligations. You will be part of the global Advisory team and you will report into Consulting Europe. You will be supported by our Consulting team in Europe and our global network and make use of our exclusive EiQ data.

For the first 4-8 months you will stay in Dubai on a special assignment. As representative of the global Advisory team, you will work closely together with our local LRQA colleagues and connect with clients, partners and relevant stakeholders to assess and build strong business development opportunities. We expect you to help sharpening the business plan and prepare the field for a next phase of expansion in the region.

When back in Europe – can be in London, Zurich or Frankfurt – you will be our anchor point for supporting the growth in the Middle East on the one hand. On the other hand, you will provide personal and targeted advice on ESG Supply Chain Diligence to our clients and sharpen your profile as a professional sustainability consultant.

What you can expect

Business Development: expanding ELEVATE's presence in the Middle East and European markets, building the grounds for accelerated growth and acquiring high-impact consulting projects by:

  • building and maintaining a professional network by connecting with all relevant stakeholders in the Middle East region, e.g. LRQA and ELEVATE teams, local business partners, existing and potential clients
  • providing market intelligence to sharpen LRQA’s business plan for the Middle East with a special focus on rapidly establishing and growing the Advisory service offerings 
  • acquiring new mandates and expanding existing clients with a focus on the Middle East, UK and German speaking markets

ESG Risk and Due Diligence management: lead consulting projects to support our clients in meeting their demanding ESG requirements landscape by:

  • developing and implementing ESG Due Diligence concepts that comply with current standards and frameworks (such as HREDD legislation, ESG ratings, EU taxonomy, TCFD, SBTI, CDP, GRI, SASB, CSRD, etc.)
  • providing strategy and supply chain advisory support
  • conducting trainings and webinars on relevant ESG trends (e.g., HREDD, data-driven risk management, supply chain due diligence processes etc.)

What you bring to the table

  • entrepreneurial Consultant with at least 5 years of proven experience in responsible sourcing, portfolio management, ESG-focused investor relations, sustainability strategy, corporate development, or similar
  • profound knowledge of the Middle East business environment and strong inter-cultural competence 
  • expertise in ratings, standards, and regulatory frameworks (such as HREDD legislation, ESG ratings, EU taxonomy, TCFD, SBTi, CDP, GRI, SASB, NFRD/CSRD, etc.) and proven ability to translate this expertise into needs-based solutions and results
  • knowledge of the Financial Sector and the Asset Management and Private Equity community in particular is a plus
  • efficient project and time management
  • excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills and experience in leading effective workshops
  • ability to work in a team and enthusiasm for mutual success
  • quick perception and independent working style
  • enjoy virtual work - 1:1, in a team and across different time zones - with a strong ability to self-manage
  • various parallel projects spur you on: You keep the overview and use synergy effects
  • professional communication in English and ideally in another European language
