We’re excited to be hiring a Data Analyst for our Umm-al-Qaiwain office. This role offers an attractive salary of 1400 and is open to foreign applicants.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, interpreting trends, developing reports, and making recommendations based on their findings. They should also use their knowledge of statistical modeling and software development to create effective solutions that support business objectives.

Specifically, the Data Analyst will:
-Gather data from internal and external sources; evaluate the completeness, accuracy, and usefulness of the data before transforming it into actionable insights
-Develop reporting dashboards that allow stakeholders to easily digest complex information
-Analyze data using statistical techniques (e.g., regression analysis) to identify patterns and trends in order to make predictions or inform decision making
-Develop models that enable stakeholders to forecast future outcomes based on past performance
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales team) to identify areas of improvement or potential opportunities for growth
-Develop automated processes for data collection and analysis in order to streamline workflows

The ideal candidate should have:
-A degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or a related field is preferred but not essential
-2+ years’ experience working with data sets in an analytical role
-Excellent understanding of statistics/data modeling techniques (e.g., regression analysis)
-Proficiency in using Python/R programming language for data manipulation/analysis tasks
-Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions
-Experience creating reports and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
