aG resources is looking to connect with Financial Reporting Analyst on an immediate basis for a reputable client.

Location: Dubai

Education/Experience: CA/ACCA

Functions of this Role: The major areas of responsibility include:

  • Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial data from various subsidiary entities to present a comprehensive view of the group's financial performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IFRS standards and amendments issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
  • Reviewing financial information proactively, identifying exceptions/inconsistencies, initiating action, and follow-up with various stakeholders
  • Assist Manager financial reporting in preparation of Management reporting
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure proper application of IFRS principles in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Perform regular reviews of financial statements to identify any non-compliance issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions .
  • Work closely with external auditors during the audit process and address any IFRS-related queries or issues.
  • Able to consolidate financial statements are prepared, including consolidated balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and statements of equity.
  • Partner with the key stakeholders for the automation of Management and Financial reporting.
  • Other ad-hoc reporting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Desired:

  • Proven experience in financial reporting and IFRS compliance , preferably in a multinational or public company setting.
  • Data analyst and expertise in Excel involves efficiently entering and organizing data into spreadsheets, utilizing various data types (text, numbers, dates, etc.), and employing data validation to ensure accuracy.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principle and consolidation
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Data Consolidation and proficient users can merge and consolidate data from multiple sources using tools like data consolidation and Power Query.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
  • Past system implementation and automation is highly desirable
