As the Insurance Manager at GluCare, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the insurance operations within the company. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all insurance-related processes are efficient, compliant, and meet the organization’s risk management needs. You will play a crucial role in assessing insurance requirements, negotiating with insurance providers, and implementing strategies to protect the company’s assets and interests.

• Insurance Planning and Strategy:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive insurance strategies that align with GluCare’s risk management objectives
  • Analyze existing insurance policies and recommend appropriate changes or enhancements to better address potential risks
  • Assess insurance needs across various departments and business functions to ensure adequate coverage
• Insurance Procurement and Negotiation:
  • Identify and evaluate potential insurance providers and negotiate insurance contracts with terms that favor GluCare
  • Collaborate with insurance brokers to obtain competitive quotes and coverage options that meet the company’s requirements
  • Regularly review insurance policies to ensure they remain up-to-date and compliant with regulations
• Claims Management:
  • Oversee the insurance claims process, ensuring timely submission, and proper documentation for all claims
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including legal teams and finance, to handle claims efficiently and resolve any disputes that may arise
  • Monitor claim trends and identify areas of improvement to reduce future claim frequencies
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
  • Conduct risk assessments across GluCare’s operations to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for risk mitigation
  • Recommend and implement risk control measures to minimize the company’s exposure to various risks
• Compliance and Reporting:
  • Stay up-to-date with insurance regulations and industry best practices, ensuring GluCare’s compliance with relevant laws and guidelines
  • Prepare and submit insurance-related reports to senior management, providing insights into the company’s insurance performance and potential areas of concern
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and supervise the insurance team, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and productivity
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the insurance department

Requirements Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in insurance management, preferably in the healthcare or similar industry
• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and best practices
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with insurance providers, brokers, and internal stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing a team
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for insurance management and reporting
