• Developing and preparing design drawings (including 3D modelling), reports, analysis, research and presentations relating to landfill, lagoon, remediation and earthworks in accordance with applicable legislation and local conditions.
• Undertaking engineering calculations relating to landfill design (geosynthetics, hydrology, geotechnical stability) and waste management planning (waste generation modelling).
• Developing design related tender documentation including BOQ’s (bill of quantities), specifications and CQA plan.
• Assisting in the preparation and contributing to the content of tenders proposals for the Sustainability and Environment Division and any cross discipline bids for other KEO Divisions.

• To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 1 to 5 years’ work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering. Specialization in geo-environmental or geotechnical engineering will be a plus.
• Experience in landfill, lagoon, waste containment design will be preferred. However, candidates with roads, dams, hydraulics, geotechnical design experiences will be also considered for the role.
• Experience in waste management engineering fields and familiarity with international best practice/regulations (such as EU Council Directive, US-EPA, etc.) will be preferred.
• Knowledge in Civil 3D and/or availability to develop further certifications (if needed).
