American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates invites applications for full-time faculty positions in psychology, starting August 2024 (in exceptional circumstances, January 2025). As an American-accredited institution in the liberal arts tradition, we seek candidates with a passion for both teaching and research in any area of specialization to join our faculty .

Successful candidates will have a PhD or a PsyD in psychology, and professional experience reflecting strong commitments to teaching, research and service. As a university formed on the American model, with English as the language of instruction, we give priority to candidates who have experience in American models of higher education.
