Full Job Description

  • Position Title – Sales Manager – Information Technology (ERP)
  • Reports To – General Manager / Project Manager
  • Location – Sri Lanka / United Arab Emirates
Duties
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business plans that expand our customer base and establish a strong market presence. Strategize effective sales tactics to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong and healthy sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of potential leads and opportunities aligned with our sales objectives.
  • Presentations and Pitches: Prepare and deliver compelling, high-level demonstrations and pitches to effectively showcase our company and its ERP solutions to the target market.
  • Relationship Building: Identify innovative methods to connect with the target market and build strong, lasting relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Market Opportunities: Identify emerging market opportunities and devise strategic campaigns to capitalize on them effectively.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular sales and revenue reports, along with realistic forecasts, to the management team, keeping them informed of progress and challenges.
  • Prospect Qualification: Ensure the initial stages of the sales cycle are met with accuracy by qualifying the right projections, thereby enhancing the success rate of sales conversions.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales efforts with company objectives and enhance overall performance.
  • Client Satisfaction: Prioritize client satisfaction and customer success, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness to client needs.
  • Sales Performance Improvement: Continuously monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to enhance sales processes and improve overall sales efficiency.
Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of proven work experience in a similar Sales Manager role, focusing on ERP solutions.
  • Qualification in Marketing or any related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of the ERP domain and expertise in solution selling.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in pipeline management and well-experienced in the ERP sales cycle.
  • Experience in successfully selling international ERP solutions.
  • Excellent numerical acumen and persuasive communication skills for client interactions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Track record of selling online to foreign customers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize critical projects.
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Self-driven and able to execute duties, supporting company strategies with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and Microsoft Office Suite tools
