Senior Mechanical Engineer

Full Job Description

This well respected European Engineering consultancy have a vast portfolio of designed and delivered projects in the Middle East region and globally.

Due to company growth and project workload, this firm are expanding their MEP Design Team and currently seek a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join Dubai team asap.
This role, for the right individual will fast track one's career as there is a firm succession plan in place.

This individual will report into the Associate and will be responsible for managing client meetings and relationships, have strong design and technical abilities to ensure quality delivery through all stages of design and construction.

Team Management and delegation will be required to communicate project deliverables and deadlines to junior team members.

Managing external consultants and contractor relationships is key to this role as well.

For the right individual this role will grow in responsibility relatively quickly.

This person will have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, have worked in the UAE or GCC for the last 3-5 years and be looking to take the next step in their career.
Overall experience will be around 10 years experience.

Experience taking projects from concept to completion, building projects of a mixed variety in the UAE/GCC and having managed a small team would be ideal.

A can do attitude, client facing presentation ability and strong communication skills to drive and mentor a team.
