Senior Procurement
Lead Jobs in Dubai | Hello Chef Jobs 2022 Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement team (currently 3 individuals),
helping to set up measurements for success, processes, tools, and
software that will support our growth ambitions
- Develop and
manage supplier relationships, ensuring that we get the right product
at the right price consistently
- Create and set up our
importing capability, ensuring OTIF, quality and cost targets are
achieved
- Work with data daily to reduce supply chain risks
and make procurement a strategic enabler of the business
Job Requirements:
- Highly analytical person with strong commercial
acumen who is skilled in negotiation and supplier management &
development
- 3-5 years’ deep experience in buying/category
management/procurement of perishable food products in an ecommerce,
hospitality or similar B2C environment
- Strong experience in
the end-to-end supply chain with a specific focus on forecasting and
demand planning to ensure consistent on time delivery
- Previous experience/knowledge of sourcing and importing
products
