JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Purpose:

To prepare competitive and technically compliant tenders and proposals in response to client inquiries, ensuring alignment with company capabilities, commercial strategy, and client requirements.

For a key project, the opportunity will be provided to transition to the Engineering team upon award.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tender Preparation:
    • Analyse tender documents (RFPs, RFQs, ITTs) and identify key requirements for your discipline.
    • Coordinate with other Engineering disciplines and other functions where there is a requirement to ensure alignment and common strategy for submission.
    • Identify clarifications in line with the tender timescales.
    • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including CTR's, technical write-up, qualifications, input to schedule
    • Ensure timely submission of tenders in accordance with client deadlines.
    • Ensure that tendering material is kept up to date and accurate, to represent the company strategy and values.
  • Technical & Commercial Evaluation:
    • Conduct risk assessments and identify deviations or clarifications.
    • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and technical data.
    • Support through Wood approval process as required.
    • Support negotiations and post-tender clarifications with clients.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    • Ensure all tender documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with client specifications.
    • Maintain records of submitted tenders and track outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, finance, legal, etc.) to ensure proposal accuracy.
    • Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations when required.

Expected:
  • B.Sc. or equivalent degree in the Engineering discipline from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 10+ years relevant experience in major Brownfield oil & gas projects, including at least five (5) years in similar position.

Role Purpose:

To prepare competitive and technically compliant tenders and proposals in response to client inquiries, ensuring alignment with company capabilities, commercial strategy, and client requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tender Preparation:
    • Analyse tender documents (RFPs, RFQs, ITTs) and identify key requirements for your discipline.
