**Your day to day**
**The AV Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the setup, operation, and maintenance of all audio-visual and lighting equipment used in hotel events, beach parties, live shows, and conferences. **Skills & Qualifications:**

Reporting to the IT Manager, the **A/V Technician** will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual and presentation systems used throughout the hotel's meeting spaces, ballrooms, and event venues. You will collaborate closely with the Events, Banqueting, and Engineering teams to support both guest and internal functions.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you'll mostly do:
+ Set up and operate all audio-visual systems including microphones, speakers, projectors, LED screens, mixers, and lighting for events.
+ Coordinate video conferencing and hybrid meeting setups using platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.
+ Perform routine testing, maintenance, and safe storage of A/V equipment.
+ Troubleshoot technical issues promptly during events to ensure uninterrupted service.
+ Liaise with clients and internal departments to understand event-specific technical requirements.
+ Maintain proper inventory of equipment and manage asset tracking.
+ Support IT functions during low event activity, as directed by the IT Manager.
