Convince the customer’s technical decision-makers to move forward with the expanded use of Autodesk technologies
Drive effective use of sales processes, tools and methodologies within the team
Innovate by developing world class processes and frameworks to digitize technical sales to drive incremental results
Continually evaluate organizational structure to ensure successful alignment with Sales teams and allocate resources as needed
Keep Technical Sales operating expenses within budget
Establish strong working relationships across global Sales, Customer Success, Channel Management, Marketing, Product Development and other groups in an effort to gain insight and appropriately build technical sales strategies
Participate in forecast calls, account planning, and other management meetings either virtually or in person
Develop and execute an annual business plan
Align and share with greater EMEA Technical Sales organization
Understand and champion the Autodesk Culture Code within the Technical Sales Organization and with all extended Autodesk teams
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years relevant field experience including 8+ years management experience
Bachelor's degree Required, master’s degree Preferred
English fluent required, Arabic a plus
Familiar with Middle Eastern and African culture
In-depth knowledge of Autodesk’s target markets
Ability to think globally and lead and inspire a large team
Advanced consulting, relationship-building, collaboration and influencing skills
Analyze in-depth situations to balance organizational objectives, strategic policies and remain aligned with goals
Experience in developing and supporting competitive sales strategies
Proven record of leading incremental sales support success
Experience working in a matrixed organization and building strategic relationships
Proficient in interacting with customers up to c-level
Superior communication and problem-solving skills
Controls planning, staffing, budgeting and managing expense priorities
Influence senior level leaders on matters of organizational significance
Able to travel up to 70% of the time
