As part of our leadership team, we are seeking a Medical Director Doctor who will take full responsibility for the clinical and regulatory management of the center while also practicing within his/her specialty. This role requires a proven leader who can ensure the highest levels of patient safety, medical compliance, and operational efficiency.
Position Overview:
The Medical Director will be the head of all clinical operations of the medical center, acting as the primary authority for regulatory compliance with the UAE Ministry of Health & Prevention (MOH), overseeing the medical team, and ensuring smooth coordination between departments. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in managing medical centers while also maintaining active clinical practice in his/her specialty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the official Medical Director for the center, ensuring full compliance with MOH regulations and standards
- Oversee daily clinical operations and supervise all healthcare staff, including doctors, nurses, and allied professionals
- Establish and implement medical policies, protocols, and quality standards for patient safety and care
- Act as the primary liaison with MOH and other regulatory authorities for inspections, licensing, and audits
- Monitor and evaluate clinical performance, providing mentorship and support to medical staff
- Ensure smooth collaboration across departments (aesthetics, wellness, support services) to deliver integrated patient care
- Conduct consultations and treatments within your medical specialty
- Lead continuous medical education and training programs for the clinical team
- Contribute to strategic planning and business development from a medical and compliance perspective
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid MOH License to practice in the UAE (mandatory)
- Minimum 7–10 years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or medical director role in the UAE
- Strong track record in medical center management and MOH compliance
- Ability to balance clinical practice with administrative leadership
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities
- High ethical standards and commitment to patient confidentiality
