Our client is a prestigious Family Law & Wills firm looking for a highly skilled Lawyer / Legal Consultant to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in family law and a deep understanding of Abu Dhabi Civil Court procedures . This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with an award-winning lawyer on a wide range of expatriate family law matters , including divorce, custody, maintenance, and inheritance cases.

Key Responsibilities

·    Advise and represent clients on family law matters, including divorce, custody, guardianship, maintenance, and inheritance.

·    Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, and submissions in both English and Arabic.

·    Manage and file cases before the Abu Dhabi Civil Court and other UAE judicial authorities.

·    Provide legal opinions and guidance on matters related to UAE family law and related regulations.

·    Liaise with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals in a professional and timely manner.

·    Support expatriate clients in navigating UAE family law procedures and documentation.

·    Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in UAE family and civil legislation.

·    Collaborate with senior lawyers and contribute to the preparation of case strategies and client.

Requirements

·    Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised university; UAE license or eligibility to practice is an advantage.

·    Proven experience in family law, with strong familiarity with Abu Dhabi Civil Court procedures.

·    Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous.

·    Exceptional legal drafting, analytical, and research skills.

·    Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

·    Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

·    Ability to work independently while collaborating within a professional legal team.
