The Repair and Maintenance Technician (hydraulic) role undertakes hands-on tasks and utilizes Weatherford's facilities, equipment, machinery, and systems. The role applies techniques and practices to complete the scope of tasks covering inspection, repair, and maintenance of field tools, preparing them for their next assignment. Tasks will span the entire process from receiving the tools, dismantling, repairing, and refurbishing using technical manuals, procedures, and technical work instructions. While this is a generic job description covering the different levels of the R&M Technician position, all aspects of the roles and responsibilities are relevant. More senior roles lead and oversee tasks carried out by other R&M employees.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in all daily operations & safety meetings, toolbox, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and reports any issues promptly using the appropriate tools
- Maintains equipment, facilities, and work area in a presentable and safe working condition
- Repairs machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, cranes, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices
- Follows maintenance processes & procedures to undertake the following: unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, visual checking, painting, assembly, loading, and storage of tools, completing all necessary documentation as required against their level of training & competence
- Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System
- Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement

- Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly, carry out necessary repair works and ensure that equipment is returned to service as soon as possible, while ensuring all safety precautions are taken.
- Ensure the safety instructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of the work in a hazardous area (safety checks).
- Undertake filing duties of the entire completed Preventive Maintenance schedule on a regular basis to maintain updated records, carrying out duties of other Maintenance Technicians during their absent/ annual leave.

- Maintenance of all hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure they are in safe condition and take action when any unsafe situations arise
- Develop, implement, and direct all emergency programs
- Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses
- Coordinate renovation bidding, define the cost and scope of the project, and oversee the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed cost effectively
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
- Responsible for the health and safety of the hotel
- Ensure monthly safety inspections take place and employees are trained accordingly

Role Purpose:The job holder will be primarily responsible for coordinating and assisting tradesmen/workers in carrying out periodic site/maintenance work progress in all day-to-day activities, ensuring all technical works are in accordance with specifications and project management manual. First line manager of staff from all disciplines employed on contracts.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Daily Operations Management: Ensure there is a consistent drive for innovative approaches in product delivery and services to both internal and external customers. Evaluate subordinates and make recommendations/comments to the AFM/FM/SFM. Perform technician’s tools audit when and where required.
Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, to ensure optimal use. Ensure that consumables/materials are available in the site stores for maintenance. Prepare and maintain accurate registers for materials.
Safety & Compliance: Responsible for the safety of the site technicians, equipment, and machinery. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Participate in Emergency Evacuation procedures.
Facility Maintenance: Conduct QHSE inspections (L10) regularly in line with the QHSE plan. Ensure all QHSE inspection and audit reporting is done in the agreed timeframe. Maintain site working practices in accordance with the Company’s QHSE plan.
Customer Satisfaction: Direct liaison with the Client or Clients’ Representative wherever necessary. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Quality Assurance: Reporting and processing any identified deficiencies or concerns during any phase of the project, in accordance with company quality procedures.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:- Diploma/ITI with 8 years’ experience in FM field.
- IOSH Supervising Safely or equivalent.
- At least 4 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- Good knowledge of all elements of FM services, both hard and soft.
- Fluency in English; additional language is a plus.
