**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Review drawings and documents related to the works
+ Supervision of works related to the Survey
+ Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations.
+ Interface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.
+ Complete the surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.
+ Check setting-out and levels. Check services locations and ensure their protection.
+ Prepare sketches to support the field work. Maintain all the survey information (field books, sketches and calculations).

+ Preparing contract bid Documents including final plans specification and cost estimates for Structural WO's.
+ Visiting Project sites to perform bridge inspections, verify existing conditions during maintenance, and provide construction support engineering.
+ Coordinating with other disciplines within the transportation department including but not limited to design, Survey, Roadway, Drainage and planning .
+ Prepare technical and cost proposals

+ Will be responsible for managing large and complex projects to ensure successful delivery to important clients.

+ Conduct Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and analysis for smoke movement.
+ Develop and use other forms of Computer Modelling software such as CFAST, Pyrosim and Pathfinder to provide alternative fire engineering solutions.
+ Manage personnel in a team of engineers in addition to mentoring and training graduates.
+ Will be client facing role , manage site inspections and deal with construction related queries.
+ Will have a responsibility on Business Development and finding new clients to help grow the business.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
+ BEng/ MEng or equivalent
+ Experienced working in a fire engineering consultancy, delivering fire strategy and fire safety consultancy services conducting fire risk assessments , developing fire management plans , fire protection design and analysis
+ An articulate communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills
+ Willing to be based in UAE and travel more than 50% across the projects sites

**Planning Engineer (Infrastructure)**
**Abu Dhabi, UAE**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Planning Engineer** to join our team! In this role, you will develop and maintain detailed project schedules for the cycle track project.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Review and convey Engineer's consent to the Contractors' Baseline schedule of works in line with Contract conditions, and using Parsons Recommended Practices
+ Validation of compatibility of project resources for timely completion of the project
+ Develop a Master Schedule integrating multiple packages considering their interdependencies to identify and reflect the impact of one schedule/project on others.
+ Evaluate & verify the planning and scheduling information from the updated / progress schedules. Identify the potential areas of delay/slippage, highlight the critical events & suggest mitigation measures / corrective actions
+ Exercise "What if" analysis to assess the time impact of each change, variation, and potential event at an early stage and provide alternative courses of action & advice before issuing instructions to contractors
+ Prepare regular progress reports / monthly reports with program analysis and recommendations, addressing program issues to ensure timely project completion, and preparing presentations regarding the work's progress concerning interim and major milestones.
+ Detailed assessment of the claims including Extension of Time, Disruption, etc using leading delay analysis methodologies including time impact analysis & window analysis with the strong skill to demonstrate the contractor's concurrent delay.
+ Discuss, coordinate, and resolve the planning and scheduling problems with the contractor and the Employer.
+ Coordination with the Client to finalize the contractor's programs, reports, and claims.
+ Attending various meetings including kick-off, technical, service coordination, progress review, etc, providing valuable inputs, and preparing concise & precise minutes of meetings.
+ Preparation of Trackers / Logs to monitor critical issues during the Design and Construction stages of the Project.
+ Agree on the progress measurement system (PMS) and key indicators with the consultants/contractors during the project for monitoring purposes.
+ Ability to communicate clearly to conduct presentations to management and interface effectively with a diverse group of professionals. Provide the reasoned & analytic response to the contractor notices and detailed particulars using programming data, sound construction practices, and contractual provisions.
+ Proper record keeping of project contemporary records
+ Issue delay notices for the contractor's culpable delay and/or slow performance letters recording areas where the contractor's performance is behind the schedule
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management from a recognized institution.
+ Minimum 8 years of experience in planning, scheduling and claims on relevant infrastructure projects (Roads, Utilities, and landscape)
+ Successful applicants will have experience in working on infrastructure and utilities projects coupled with an excellent overall understanding of the construction industry, along with interface and coordination requirements in the industry.
+ Proficiency in scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6

**Resident Engineer (Road & Infrastructure)**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Resident Engineer** to join our team! In this role you will get to **p** **lan, schedule, supervise, and exercise administrative authority over all field of engineering work** **.**
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Act as the Engineer with delegated authority and be directly responsible to the Employer during construction.
+ Communicate directly with the Contractor.
+ Observe and inspect the Contractor's construction activities.
+ Issue orders to correct non-compliant activities, work, materials, and equipment.
+ Direct, assist, and monitor the construction supervision team, including site engineers, work inspectors, and surveyors.
+ Provide assistance and advice to the Employer regarding variations, adjustments, and financial matters.
+ Provide recommendations to the Employer for Contractor payments, claims, and variation orders.
+ Advise on contractual and construction matters related to roadworks, utility diversions, traffic diversions, road furniture, and related works.
+ Supervise, review, monitor, and report on progress of roadworks and associated works.
+ Coordinate with design Engineers, Contractor, Client/PMC, and concerned Authorities.
+ Ensure safety goals are achieved and oversee implementation of safety procedures.
+ Submit reports on accidents or near misses and review Contractor's HSE reports.
+ Participate in health and safety issues and comply with safety, health, and risk management requirements.
+ Convene and chair regular site meetings.
+ Ensure prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals.
+ Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
+ Report back to SRE/CM or Project Manager as necessary.
+ Participate in contract administration.
+ Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred). An equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Education is required.
+ Minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in roads, infrastructure, and utilities such as stormwater projects.
+ Proven experience in supervising major road and general infrastructure projects, preferably in the Gulf region.
+ Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer (PE) registration, or membership in similar professional organizations, is preferred.
+ Strong emphasis on Quality Assurance Specifications and Statistical Quality Control.
+ Thorough understanding of contractual relationships.
+ Proficient in computer technology for accessing data, maintaining records, generating reports, and using project-specific engineering and construction software.
+ Registered as a practicing engineer in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is an advantage.
+ Arabic speaker.
