Technical skills and experience required:
  • Degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years postgraduate experience, with at least 5 years on large projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills on-site.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D MAX, Photoshop, MS Project or Primavera, PowerPoint, and Office suite.
  • Good knowledge of building codes.
  • Authority registration preferred.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate teams or disciplines of moderate size.
  • UAE Driving License.

Desired Candidate Profile

What you ll bring to the team:

  • Minimum of 12 years experience in project management, design management, or delivery roles ideally with a consultancy or developer.
  • Proven leadership on major multidisciplinary infrastructure or building projects in the UAE or wider GCC.
  • A strong commercial mindset, with the ability to balance technical excellence and client satisfaction.
  • 5 years Experience managing teams, mentoring talent, and driving performance.
  • Track record in proposal development and client relationship management.
  • Chartered status or equivalent (e.g., PMP, MCIOB, RICS) is preferred.
  • Master s in project management/ engineering is preferred.

**Join AECOM's 2026 Graduate Program**
As part of our Graduate Program, we're excited to welcome a **Graduate Design Management Coordinator** to join our multidisciplinary Design Management team within our Buildings + Places business line.
**About the Role**
As a **Graduate Design Management Coordinator** , you'll support the delivery of design projects from start to finish - ensuring that communication, quality, and timelines are all aligned. You'll work closely with Design Managers and discipline leads to help coordinate multi-disciplinary design efforts, while gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle.
You will assist with:
+ Organizing and managing design processes for small to medium-scale projects
+ Supporting design managers with planning and defining scopes, schedules, and information flow
+ Coordinating with technical design teams to track design inputs and ensure timely resolution of issues
+ Preparing and updating logs, trackers, and reports for design deliverables, RFIs, risks, and changes
+ Reviewing deliverables for alignment with client expectations and contract requirements
+ Maintaining documentation and helping drive design efficiency across projects
**What We're Looking For**
We're seeking motivated graduates with strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills who are eager to develop a career in design management. You'll need to be a team player, a fast learner, and ready to grow in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
1. Bachelor's Degree in Design Management, Architecture, Interior Design from an accredited University
2. Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
3. Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
4. **As part of AECOM's commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.**
