Electrical Power System Maintenance Technician

Amentum seeks a qualified Electric Power Generation and Control Systems Technician to maintain, modify, and repair electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Cummins generator series and Inpower software.

• Maintain and repair electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, and associated equipment.
• Perform scheduled periodic maintenance on systems and components.
• Adjust generator systems to maintain proper voltage, current frequency, and synchronization.
• Identify, record, and repair generator malfunctions by removing, repairing, and replacing defective power generating components.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent . Formal training on power generating equipment and associated equipment is required.
• Four years of practical experience with the equipment the technician will maintain.

Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and manage all electrical engineering activities for an Oil Train Project. The role involves detailed engineering, procurement support, and field technical assistance for oil & gas facilities including crude oil separation, stabilization, and export systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, review, and approval of electrical engineering deliverables including Single-Line Diagrams, cable schedules, load lists, power system studies, and equipment datasheets.
• Provide expertise in the selection and specification of High Voltage/Medium Voltage/Low Voltage electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, Motor Control Centers, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, and generators.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC, API) and local standards.
• Conduct power system studies (load flow, short circuit, motor starting, arc flash) using tools like ETAP or SKM.
• Supervise and coordinate electrical design interfaces with instrumentation, mechanical, and civil teams.

• Shall be responsible for liaising with Electricity Authorities such as DEWA, SEWA, Ethihad WE etc for obtaining Power Supply Master Plan Approvals, Load NOCs, LV Design Approvals & MV Design Approvals. Distribution substation approvals, Getting Electricity applications, NOCs and all related designs preparations.
• The engineer may be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate-size project.
• Shall Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and Mid-Level, Junior Engineers working on the same project.
• Shall Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

• Experience in infrastructure projects, understanding of the requirements for primary substations 132/11 kV, HV corridor, distribution substations, pocket substations, feeder pillars, 11kV & LV networks and report writing skills.
