We are seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for **Environment, Safety and Health (ESH),** combined with a strong commitment to Sustainability. This position has primary responsibility to ensure World-Area level ESH activities & new initiatives for the **MEA Flow controls business unit** . We are looking for a professional who is ready to work in innovative and high growth business environment, complex engineered products manufacturing environment and to implement the best-in-class process and programs to protect our people and environment. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Life Cycle Services ESH, Global ESH, MEA corporate ESH Management, and local country ESH representatives.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Review, Maintain and Develop policies and procedures to cultivate a strong culture of safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
+ Drive continuous improvement of ESH programs to mitigate risk, prevent injuries, and protect people, property, and the environment.
+ Provide HSE expertise and take ownership for implementing tools, standards, and proven methods.
+ Harmonize and standardize MEA processes and initiatives, promoting collaboration within the HSE community and implementing proven techniques.
+ Adopting Global and world area level strategies to the MEA FCV level ESH priorities.
+ Drive innovative programs which brings Engineering solutions to all the hazards.
+ Ensure ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Certification through timely audits and effective closure of corrective actions.
+ Collaborate with leadership to embed ESH accountability and cultivate a positive safety culture.
+ Ensure all new projects within the organization have acquired all required authorizations and permits.
+ Provide continuous leadership in reducing the operating costs related to ESH for the facilities through energy conservation, waste minimization and injury prevention etc.,
+ Track, analyze and communicate ESH performance through a combination of leading and lagging indicators. Align the improvement priorities in line with the indicators.
+ Serve as the MEA system administrator for all ESH tools such as Velocity and Environment Health Safety (ENHESA) regulatory compliance and risk management audit tools; understand, assimilate, and mentor key users.
+ Own the development of ESH plans, establish objectives, and monitor progress using important metrics to ensure compliance and improve performance.
+ Conduct inspections and audits and ensure timely communication of findings and corrective actions.
+ Lead sustainability initiatives, drive emission reduction strategies, and foster green teams to achieve NetZero targets in line with Emerson targets.
+ Green House Gas reduction initiatives and drive the programs.

+ Practical knowledge of ESH regulatory compliance and industry trends.
+ Lead Auditor in ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 (or previous 18001).
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ Engineering Masters Degree or equivalent experience
+ Professional certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or National Board Examination
+ Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH).
+ Experience in using technology, devices, training techniques related to ESH

- Monitor HSE staff in executing daily activities to include site inspections, audits, and reporting.
- Preparing weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics and presentations related to HSE performance.
- Manage the HSE staff and coordinate their audit schedule.
- Monitor and track overall project HSSE performance and communicate trends and achievements.
- Develop all the required documentation, operational checks and reports for the HSE Management System to be compliant with ISO standards, including corrective and preventive measures.
- Investigate HSE complaints put forward by staff members and report the results to management.
- Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses. Review and analyze accidents and near miss findings and developing and tracking corrective actions.
- Develop and implement focused audit strategy to align with nonconformance trends and high-risk activities to include: Keys to Life risks, Company critical activities, work permit process and implementation.
- Development of Job Safety Analyses and pre-task analyses (Total Safety Task Instruction). Development and maintenance of a Risk Register.
- Maintain a site presence and inspect job site activities during particularly difficult or hazardous work situation.
- Coordinate with weekly safety focused walkthroughs with site management and supervision.
- Assist Company management in the preparation and presentation of field HSE meetings.
- Conduct weekly and monthly meetings to include mass toolbox and HSE staff.
- Develop and maintain emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.
- Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements.
- To advise site management, craft employees and subcontractors on successful implementation of Zero Harm objectives.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree Health, Safety, Environment Management, Chemical engineer (or equivalent) or relevant diploma
- Minimum 10+years' experience as a HSE Manager/ Lead position
- Strong Health Safety and Environment Managerial skill in similar industries
- Practical knowledge in root cause analysis (RCA)
Skills Required:
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent training skills
- Able to provide detailed audit reports, with relevant required preventive and corrective measures
- Fluent English speaking and excellent report writing skills
- Qualified in implementation of ISO management systems
- Previous experience in refinery will be an added advantage
- Qualified/certified in HSE practices

We are seeking a skilled Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to lead our efforts in designing and implementing effective HSE management systems. This role is critical in ensuring the organization meets regulatory and accreditation requirements while continuously improving quality standards.
Key Responsibilities & Authorities- Develop and implement HSE policies and strategies that align with top management's goals and objectives.
- Establish comprehensive health, safety and environmental standards across all systems.
- Define competencies for the HSE team members and oversee their performance.
- Promote competency development among personnel within the scope of HSE.
- Approve procedures for both manual and IT-enabled processes related to HSE.
- Design and implement all activities pertaining to HSE.
- Recommend resources and budgets for the HSE Department.
- Train personnel in process areas, including internal auditors on HSE topics.
- Approve all documents and records related to HSE.
- Implement applicable HSE standards and develop plans for corrective actions.
- Decide on non-conformities in collaboration with the Quality Team.
- Determine the effectiveness of actions taken against non-conformities.
- Identify new HSE concepts and implement suitable ones.
- Monitor internal auditor performance and conduct quality/HSE audits.
- Develop and execute comprehensive HSE Plans.
- University degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial/Mechanical/Electromechanical/Electrical).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE activities within Manufacturing, Engineering or Oil and Gas Industry.
- International exposure and excellent communication skills.
- Certification as Lead Auditor ISO 45001, Nebosh HSE certification, and NDT Level 2.

Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering OR Bachelor Degree in relevant Science OR HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)
Professional / Technical Qualifications:
Minimum one of the following:
- NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent (Subject to approval by ADNOC Group)
- Any other HSE certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion)
Mandatory:
- Lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent.
- Incident Investigation techniques.
Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be an added advantage.
Work Experience:
Minimum 8-10 years experience in HSE in construction fabrication installation and/or commissioning projects / operations in the oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices, and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.
- Able to lead a team of HSE personnel such as HSE officers, Hygiene officers, etc.
- Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
- Ability to develop and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures/plans, and site-specific HSE procedures/work instructions.
- Practical experience in implementation of SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment, etc.).
- Ability to conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures applicable to the SOW.
- Ability to implement practical H2S control measures.
- Ability to conduct HSE audits and inspections.
- Ability to investigate incidents and identify immediate and root causes.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English with good communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
