The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work well under pressure. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Food Service is required, with knowledge of operating systems and procedures an added advantage.

• Consistently offer professional friendly warm and engaging service to Guests.
• Set up banquet rooms according to function requirements ensuring attention to detail in table settings linens glassware and equipment.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet events ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of all banquet menus buffet setups and bar service options.
• Monitor and respond to Guest needs during events resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
• Participate in preevent briefings to understand the event schedule and expectations.
• Work closely with the Banquet Manager kitchen team and other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Ensure all linens are counted and handled properly at the end of shifts.
• Maintain and organize banquet equipment reporting any damage or shortages to the Banquet Manager.
• Handle Guest feedback and concerns efficiently escalating issues to the Banquet Manager when necessary.
• Attend preshift weekly and monthly meetings to enhance service standards and continuously improve the Guest experience.

Service Ambassador

We are seeking a skilled and courteous Service Ambassador to join our team. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests by serving food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner.

• Serve food and beverage according to prescribed service standards and procedures with emphasis on speed and accuracy.
• Maintain the cleanliness and service supply at the service station to ensure prompt and effective operation.
• Check all trays and trolleys in the station, table complements, flatware, glassware, linens, are clean and well set up.
• Familiarize with all food and beverage items in the menu, items on promotions and daily special menu, its ingredients, method of preparation, portion size and presentation to deliver ideal service maximizing guest satisfaction.
• Practice suggestive selling to boost food & beverage sales, increase guest satisfaction.
• Assist Restaurant Captain in monthly and daily operating equipment inventory.
• Attend pre-meal briefing and de-briefing daily and monthly F&B Staff Meeting as well as other training sessions organized by hotel for staffs.
• Accomplish and forward captain order slip to the kitchen for orders of food and for drinks to supervisor or efficiently key in order from POS. to printer in the kitchen for orders.
• Confirm satisfaction with guest and inform supervisor or manager immediately in case of guest complains.
• Report to Restaurant Captain at start of shift to receive necessary instructions for the shift, side duties assigned, floor assignment, menu changes, guest comments and complains.
• Report any unusual incident, guest complains, lost and found, breakage and losses to Service Supervisor.
• Generate higher revenue through up-selling techniques and skills.
• Conduct cashiering operation in restaurant where self-cashiering functions and equipment available and implemented.
• Check accuracy of all charged items in bill before presenting to guests.
• Handle guests bill and invoice in good quality service manner.
• Provide assistance to co-employees within food & beverage and amongst other departments in performance of tasks to foster team work and success for the Hotel.
• Attend briefing, meetings and training organized by hotel management to develop and improve service skills and knowledge.
• Perform any other duties assigned by immediate superior which leads to guest satisfaction and profit for the Hotel.

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time.
