Responsibilities:
- Perform various forensic accounting and investigative roles, including modeling, reviewing books and records, conducting interviews, and drafting client deliverables.
- Complete forensic accounting reports.
- Analyze financial and business records, transactions, and data analytics to provide forensic accounting, internal controls, fraud risk assessments, and litigation support.
- Assist with internal controls and fraud risk assessments.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions with project managers and forensic engineers regarding ongoing assignments.
- Manage client expectations and deliverables under supervision.
- Oversee all forensic accounting-related aspects of new and existing assignments, including supervising staff, reviewing and finalizing client deliverables, managing expectations, and adhering to time and budget constraints.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks.
- Investigate and develop quantum algorithms to solve computational challenges.
- Design, implement, and optimize quantum algorithms.
- Examine project schedules to identify delays.
- Conduct forensic analysis of project documentation to assess delay impacts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or forensic accounting.
- Experience in construction auditing and construction integrity is required.
- 5+ years of experience in forensic accounting, auditing, financial fraud investigations, litigation support, FCPA investigations, and internal controls/fraud risk assessments.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- MBA and/or CFE certifications are preferred.
- Strong understanding of quantum mechanics and quantum computing principles is preferred.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Q# is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for negotiations and explaining contract terms.
- Experience with contract law and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Robust understanding of construction processes and scheduling software is preferred.
- Ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns.
- Meticulous attention to detail in examining project documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop effective solutions for delays.
- Familiarity with accounting software and forensic principles.
- Experience in drafting reports and presenting to clients and large groups.
- Good judgment and business acumen in dealing with various situations.
