Job Description
Our client, an event management organization, is currently looking for a Cultural Affairs Executive to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will play a key role in fostering local, regional, and international cultural relations, supporting the organization’s cultural diplomacy initiatives. The role involves coordinating events, developing partnerships, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting in the execution of strategic cultural engagement programs.
Key Responsibilities
Cultural Affairs Development
· Support in the development and management of cultural relationships with embassies, arts organizations, cultural institutions, and diplomatic bodies.
· Conduct research to identify and expand new cultural engagement opportunities.
· Draft and prepare official documents such as Letters of Cooperation and Memorandums of Understanding with international partners.
· Maintain and update the internal database on the history of cultural affairs and international engagements.
· Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team on messaging and media content related to cultural affairs.
· Liaise with the Founder’s Office to facilitate VIP engagements, both locally and internationally.
Cultural Programming Support
· Assist in the coordination and execution of collaborative projects, co-productions, and international partnerships with prestigious arts organizations and festivals.
· Research and recommend regional and international cultural events, conferences, and opportunities relevant to the organization’s mission.
· Monitor and report on key global cultural events and developments.
· Coordinate overseas cultural programs, ensuring smooth communication with venues, institutions, and VIP guests.
· Support the management of the organization’s memberships in international cultural and arts networks.
Requirements· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Arts & Culture, International Relations, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or cultural affairs within the arts, events, or public/private sector.
· Strong understanding of cultural diplomacy, stakeholder engagement, and event coordination.
· Excellent communication, research, and report-writing skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
· High proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong presentation skills.
