We are seeking a highly skilled Lifting Operations Specialist to join our team in delivering integrated solutions for complex energy and infrastructure projects.
This role requires the ability to plan, coordinate, control, and execute lifts while ensuring safety leadership and continuous development in crane, lifting, and support service activities.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas:
- Lifting operations will involve planning, coordinating, controlling, and executing lifts to ensure safe and efficient delivery of projects.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing EnerMech's Riggers conducting vessel lifts and those on the platform as directed by the Crane Supervisor.
- They will also be responsible for managing client-owned and supplied loose lifting equipment, maintaining a database and issuance register including inventory, test certificate, damage loss report, and booking sheets.
- Additionally, they will assist TPI with bi-annual lifting equipment inspection and recertification.
- Other responsibilities include carrying out Banking/Signalman duties as required, planning and risk assessing routine and complicated crane-lifting operations, supervising all lifting operations, selecting cranes and accessories, checking load integrity and stability, and ensuring statutory requirements and work permits are in place.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in oil and gas offshore and onshore lifting-related roles, with at least 5 years in a similar position.
- Adequate training and hands-on experience to act as an Appointed Person for lifting equipment is essential.
- The successful candidate must be able to write Lifting plans and supervise critical lifting in oil and gas companies.
- Familiarity with international standards related to lifting engineering practices is also required.
