Boiler Technician for Incinerators

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial boilers in incinerators.

• Maintenance and Repair: Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify malfunctions in boilers and associated systems. Perform repairs or replacements of defective components, including burners, heat exchangers, pumps, and control systems. Conduct preventive maintenance operations to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to monitor boiler performance and anticipate maintenance needs. Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance activities and provide detailed reports on interventions performed.
• Installation and Replacement: Plan and execute the installation of new boilers in incinerators, adhering to technical specifications and safety standards. Coordinate the replacement of existing boilers, minimizing service interruptions. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of new installations. Perform commissioning tests to verify the proper functioning of new boilers and compliance with performance requirements. Provide training to staff on the use and maintenance of new installations.

• Degree in mechanical engineering, thermal engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial boilers, preferably in incinerators.
• Expertise in boiler installation and replacement, with indepth knowledge of commissioning procedures.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and schematics.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Boiler maintenance certification (a plus).
• CICPA qualification.
