Educational Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree pursuing actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative course work,
  • Must be a qualified actuary – registered as a Fellow of a recognized global actuarial body
  • Outstanding academic record
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
Experience And Skill Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of actuarial experience, with a substantial part of the experience in health-related work

Role Purpose

We are seeking an individual with energy and natural resources management consulting skills to help grow our Strategic Accounts consulting practice in the EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa) Region. The Principal Consultant will be a senior member of the EMEA SA consulting team based in Dubai responsible for delivering an expanding range of strategic consulting assignments. As a Principal Consultant you will take a leading role in our project team delivering a wide variety of consulting projects to clients.

As a key member of our EMEA team you will be responsible for project managing energy related consultancy projects and for helping us enhance and deepen our advisory relationship with clients. You will be supported to grow your understanding of the evolving energy and natural resources sector to become an energy consultant. The position requires the ability to apply detailed knowledge of and experience in the energy space to a broad range of client situations including the implications and opportunities inherent to the energy transition and to develop strategic insight from an array of analyses making use of our inhouse tools and products.

While the role is part of the EMEA team you will be involved in a range of consulting projects spanning the globe including the Americas and Asia. The successful candidate will therefore be expected to travel on a projectspecific basis. Our clients include energy companies private equity firms financial institutions infrastructure operators investors traders governments and others.

Main Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Project planning define course of action to accomplish goal of assignment
  • Maintain close communication with clients to keep them informed of progress and ensure projects bring impactful insights that add strategic value
  • Organise proper resources for projects manage project implementation structure deliverables and ensure highquality delivery within the budget and timeline
  • Oversee the work of other members of the team including Associates
  • Identify followup and resale opportunities
  • Follow company consulting procedures and methodologies

Business Development

  • Develop relationships with consulting clients to foster repeat business
  • Discuss consulting needs with clients prepare and present proposals to clients
  • Collaborate with the team to scope opportunities and to estimate fees for quotation
  • Participate in industry events to network with potential clients where appropriate

Practice Development

  • Coach and mentor more junior consultants taking personal responsibility for their development and tracking of their progress
  • Support the regional VP of Gas & LNG Consulting in expanding the consulting practice
  • Assist with the development of new consulting offerings to provide better insights and solutions to our clients
  • Work with colleagues in other sector consulting teams Upstream Downstream Power & Renewables Chemicals Hydrogen Emissions and Carbon Management to ensure good coordination across the value chain for our clients
  • Lead project reviews to foster continuous improvement

Analysis and Commercial/Strategic Intelligence

  • Identify obtain sort and organise sources of information both from the public domain industry network and internal databases.
  • Validate analyse and critically assess sources of information
  • Select an appropriate analytical tool(s) for each assignment with the ability to also build simple excel models where required
  • Utilise Wood Mackenzie products to extract information and data useful for the consulting engagement when applicable
  • Take ownership of and responsibility for analysis undertaken

About You

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor degree in relevant field
  • Preference for advance degree candidates (e.g. MBA MSc PhD)
  • At least 6 years experience within the energy and natural resources sector with a strong understanding of the trends and drivers that are shaping the industry or equivalent experience in management consulting (energyrelated management consulting preferred)
  • Consulting experience mandatory (MBB experience is advantageous)
  • Knowledge of other languages (e.g. Arabic French) is advantageous but not all mandatory requirement

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist the consulting team on client assignments, key tasks include market research, financial analysis, report writing, presentation, participation in internal and external meetings

This position is key to developing and scaling the Risk practice area within Visa Consulting & Analytics with specific focus on the CISSE region. The practice of Risk advisory helps Visa's clients in areas of Fraud Risk and Credit Risk with the objective to help our clients grow their payments/banking business with sustainable risk performance.

The person will jointly report into the head of Risk Consulting Visa Consulting & Analytics CEMEA and will work closely with the Head of Visa Consulting & Analytics in the CISSE region.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage the sales pipeline for Risk consulting service line in the region. Execute on revenue targets agreed.
  • Identify opportunities for Consulting assignments with top Clients using VISA and external data to analyze client needs across the focus markets.
  • Develop project pitches and proposals in coordination with Account Executives, the Visa Consulting & Analytics teams in the subregion, and the head of Risk Service Line in the CEMEA region.
  • Deliver risk consulting projects. Resolve complex strategic problems. Synthesize and manage complex project structures when required.
  • Supervise and be accountable for quality delivery on Risk consulting projects.
  • Manage project delivery teams comprising of internal and, in some cases, external consulting resources.
  • Work closely with other VISA groups including Product, Client Services, Data Science, etc., to ensure a seamless client Consulting experience in the countries of focus.
  • Participate in the development of the Risk Service line through contribution in the development of new consulting offerings, white papers, thought leadership pieces, etc.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master's degree preferred though not required.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal guidance.
  • Result-oriented and initiative-taking personality that proactively seeks to generate impact for both clients and within Visa.
  • At least 10 years of professional work experience with the following profile:
    • Risk management and analytical experience within the financial services practice of a reputed consulting firm OR within the retail banking unit of a top-tier bank/leading FinTech.
    • Deep exposure to Credit & operational/fraud risk management topics in consumer and SME payments and banking.
    • Experience in management/strategy consulting industry is highly desirable.
  • Consulting skills and client engagement capabilities including:
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
    • Credibility with clients and working teams and diplomatic skills to extract desired outcomes.
    • Avid communicator comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior management of clients and VISA. Advanced client communication and presentation skills. Fluency in English language is essential.
    • Strong experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel with the ability to synthesize data, extract key insights, and develop executive presentations.
    • Superior project management skills demonstrated through experience of managing multiple large client projects.
    • Previous experience in CISSE markets would be preferable.

Language skills: Knowledge of Russian language is mandatory for this position.

Bringing impactful technology and industry insights into customer engagements, closing deals with customers, and coaching others internally on deal control through demonstrating high levels of commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Leveraging deep sales and delivery experience to drive consultative sales and build trust with C-level executives.
  3. Influencing Microsoft's strategic direction across various markets by leading virtual cross-organizational teams on strategic projects and high-impact solution sales deployments that enable digital transformation and deliver business value. Utilizing CSA assets and consulting IP to facilitate customer transformation.
  4. Participating actively in sales planning, orchestration, and deal closure using Microsoft’s sales methodology (MCEM). Shaping and selling custom consulting solutions with technical acumen that maximizes Microsoft investments. Establishing strong governance and executive oversight to set delivery up for success.
  5. Providing deal coaching and shaping by encouraging cross-area learning and insights within the solution area to benefit both customers and wider Microsoft teams. Working seamlessly with the broader account team to build relationships and drive consumption, with a focus on AI integration.
  6. Continuously building sales expertise, learning, and evolving knowledge of transformative solutions to support customers and the Microsoft team, investing in personal development.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience in solution-based selling across one or more CSAs, with the ability to effectively position cross-CSA offerings and align customer needs with our portfolio.
  • Experience selling into commercial or public sector accounts, understanding industry trends and challenges, and tailoring solutions to specific industry needs.
  • Proven ability to interact with senior stakeholders, navigate C-level relationships, and articulate the value proposition of solutions.
  • Exposure to consulting or solution architecture practices, collaborating effectively with technical and consulting teams to develop customer solutions.
  • Experience driving the sales cycle for digital transformation initiatives, with a proven ability to drive value conversations and align solutions with transformation goals.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field with proven industry sales experience in the commercial or public sector (e.g., Finance, Local Government), or a Master’s Degree with a strong background in technology sales within similar sectors.
  • Substantial experience in consulting solution sales and delivery is highly desirable.

Role Overview

As Manager dnata Consulting, you will lead the programme of work delivery for dnata Consulting Services, including identifying and qualifying new business opportunities and managing internal resources to deliver high-quality projects. This is a full-time role based in our Dubai office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop market proposition in consultation with dnata Executives; identify priority customer segments, success indicators, and market entry strategies for consulting services.
  • Develop consulting engagement standards and KPI framework.
  • Identify and maintain a network of internal and external resources, contractors, and suppliers to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain methodologies, knowledge repositories, proposals, case studies, and research to support high-quality consulting services.

  • At least 5+ years of experience in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of aviation services, including ground handling, cargo, and/or catering.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365 applications.
  • Willingness to travel within the Middle East and worldwide.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree.

Milliman currently provides actuarial and consulting services to insurers, government entities and other stakeholders across the GCC countries.
Key Responsibilities

  • Line manager for the healthcare actuarial team based in both Dubai and Riyadh offices
  • Providing guidance to actuarial team to prepare appropriate analysis and modelling
  • Review and refinement of analysis and reports produced by the actuarial team for both private health insurers and government entities
  • Prepare and present results and recommendations to clients for consideration
  • Coordinating input from global consultants to develop responses to relevant RFPs
  • Project management, including preparing detailed project plans, monitoring progress, and managing project budgets
  • Liaising with key client contacts to obtain required data and information and provide project status updates
  • Ensure adherence to Milliman’s policies and processes throughout all activities
Educational Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree pursuing actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative course work
  • Must be a qualified actuary registered as a Fellow of a recognized global actuarial body
  • Outstanding academic record
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
Experience And Skill Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience, of which at least 5 years should be post-qualification experience, with a substantial part of the experience in health-related work
  • Superior math aptitude and strong analytical ability
  • Experience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance products
  • Experience with a wide range of actuarial concepts specific to health systems, such as utilisation, clinical coding systems, Diagnosis-Related Groupers, bundled payments, population health management, value-based healthcare, etc
  • Ability to translate complex actuarial concepts into simpler ideas for a non-actuarial audience
  • Significant client facing experience, including experience with presenting technical content to senior stakeholders
  • Project management experience
