Key Responsibilities:
- Licensing Applications: Process applications for medical licenses, including initial applications, renewals, and cancellations for healthcare professionals. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and complies with the requirements of the relevant authorities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with changes in medical licensing regulations and ensure that the organization's medical staff maintain valid and up-to-date licenses as required by the UAE Ministry of Health (MOH), the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH), and other relevant authorities.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain a comprehensive and organized database of all medical licensing documentation, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with audit requirements.
- Communication with Authorities: Liaise with government agencies and healthcare regulatory bodies to resolve licensing issues, track application statuses, and ensure compliance with local health regulations.
- Support Healthcare Professionals: Assist healthcare professionals with inquiries about licensing requirements, processes, and documentation. Provide guidance to staff on how to navigate the licensing process efficiently.
- Training and Updates: Educate staff on regulatory changes and licensing processes, ensuring that all medical personnel are informed and prepared for any required actions.
- Renewals & Expirations: Monitor the expiration dates of licenses and certifications and initiate renewals in a timely manner to avoid any disruptions in medical practice.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare and maintain accurate records for audits by local authorities or internal reviews. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a medical licensing or regulatory role, preferably in the UAE.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations, licensing processes, and legal requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with regulatory bodies and healthcare professionals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Education: A bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

Job Summary:The Permits, Licensing, and Approvals Manager is responsible for overseeing the application and approval processes for all project-related permits and licenses. Key responsibilities include monitoring permit applications, maintaining accurate documentation and advising project teams on permit requirements. Major Responsibilities:- Coordination of Applications: Manage the submission and approval process for all necessary permits and licenses, including building, environmental, and operational permits.
- Collaboration with Authorities: Liaise with local, regional, and governmental entities to ensure timely submission of applications and adherence to all requirements.
- Application Monitoring: Track the status of permit applications, proactively following up with authorities to resolve issues and expedite approvals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the project complies with all relevant regulations, including zoning, environmental, construction, and health and safety laws.
- Knowledge Maintenance: Stay informed about local, regional, and national permitting requirements, ensuring all applications reflect current laws and regulations.
- Advisory Role: Provide guidance to project teams on permit-related requirements and restrictions that may affect project timelines and activities.
