Description of the Role

• Provide Mechanical & Plumbing engineering services including but not limited to design and design review services for building and infrastructure projects in the UAE and internationally.
• Review of HVAC and Plumbing designs calculations and reports as per Abu Dhabi Municipality requirements.
• Attend site visits and meetings as required by the project and the clients.
• Identify business opportunities for SOCOTEC and work closely with the Commercial team to develop these.
• Assist the Commercial team with the preparation of fee proposals and quotations.
• Liaise with Technical Manager and Accountant for reporting and invoicing.
• Assist Technical Manager Accountant and Managing Director in analyzing the financial data associated with your projects.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experienced in Mechanical Design and Design Review in the building construction industry.
• Experienced in international codes and local regulations.
• Fluent in English. Arabic recommended.

We are seeking a highly skilled plumbing specialist to join our team for high-rise building construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, managing, and overseeing all plumbing-related activities, ensuring that plumbing systems are integrated seamlessly with the mechanical and electrical systems to meet safety, regulatory, and operational standards.

• Design & Planning:

  • Develop and design plumbing systems for high-rise buildings including water supply, drainage, storm water systems, and sanitary systems.

  • Collaborate with the architectural, structural, and MEP design teams to integrate plumbing systems into the overall building design.

  • Ensure that designs meet local codes and standards as well as sustainability and energy efficiency goals.

• Project Management:
