We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our quality controls team. The selected candidate will be responsible for reporting the overall status of implementation of the Company Integrated Management System (IMS) and advising on improvements needed to improve its effectiveness.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills. They should be able to work both independently and as a team leader, exercising professional judgment and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting the overall status of implementation of the IMS to the Regional Quality Manager at Regional and/or Project level.
• Advising the Regional Quality Manager on improvements/changes needed to improve the effectiveness of the IMS at Regional and/or Project level.
• Monitoring the application of Company Policies and Procedures applicable to the Quality Department at Regional Level.
• Deputizing for the Regional Quality Manager as required.
• Providing guidance, induction, and training to Regional Dept. Managers with respect to the application of the Company IMS.
• Assisting in the preparation of quality documentation related to Tenders including the review of construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements.
• Maintaining and updating the Regional Quality Department database (including based on information and records received for Projects) as required.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions undertaken to address occurrences of nonconformance.
• Updating the Regional Quality Audit Schedule.
• When required, assisting in undertaking internal audits of the Integrated Management System of Regional Departments and reporting findings to the Regional Quality Manager.
• Reviews Project Monthly Quality Reports and reports any open and pending issues to the Regional Quality Manager at Project level.
• Deputizing for QC Manager as required.
• Provides assistance in the development of the Project specific IMS documents according to Contract requirements.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Civil / Electrical Engineering
• Certified and registered IRCA Lead Auditor in ISO 9001
• 12 years of experience as QA Engineer with strong background in O&G projects (previous experience with ADNOC projects)
• Strong knowledge and experience in leading Project Quality audits.
• Strong coordination and reporting skills.
• Knowledge in vendor documents review.
• Well-versed in preparation of QA documentation, manual procedures, audit checklists, audit reports, hands-on in performing quality audits, and adept in NCR disposition and close out. Should be able to review quality metrics and evaluate performance data. Familiar with preparation and submission of Quality reports.

The Quality Control (QC) Engineer for Windows Doors and Facades is responsible for ensuring that all aluminium productsincluding windows doors and faadescomply with the companys quality standards as well as relevant industry regulations and specifications. This role includes conducting material inspections testing finished products managing quality documentation and working closely with manufacturing teams to resolve product quality issues. The QC Engineer also plays a key role in driving process optimization and continuous improvement in the production of aluminium-based systems. This position reports directly to the Quality Control Manager.

• Plan and direct activities related to the development and implementation of quality standards for architectural aluminium works in building projects.
• Support fabricators on-site by conducting inspections and ensuring adherence to quality procedures for systems used in the projects aligning with approved fabrication and installation method statements.
• Deliver training sessions workshops and guidance to fabrication teams covering standard fabrication procedures to maintain high-quality output.
• Develop and maintain documentation including forms and instructions for recording evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data; provide detailed reports following each site visit and training session.
• Coordinate with consultants and site representatives for inspections and to address any quality-related issues.
• Conduct material analysis using appropriate tools and software to prepare material lists and fabrication sheets for training and production use.
• Assist technical and logistics teams with the preparation of materials and documentation required for technical submittals in accordance with the proposed system specifications for each project.
• Perform any additional tasks or assignments as directed by the Manager.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Materials Science Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Alternatively a vocational education in mechanics or a related technical discipline will also be considered.
• Certifications in quality control (e.g. Six Sigma CQE) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 35 years of experience in quality control specifically in aluminum fenestration (windows/doors) or faade industries.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) ISO standards and construction-related regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD to read and interpret drawings (drawing creation not required).
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience conducting root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of industry standards for windows doors and facades such as EN 14351-1 CE marking and energy efficiency standards
• Proficient in using quality management software (e.g. SAP Minitab) and MS Office tools.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) are required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not essential).
• Occasional travel to supplier or project sites may be required.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment which may include exposure to heavy machinery and construction materials.
