Minimum Qualification: Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills: 4 years of experience.

1. Perform a variety of quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests and analysis in accordance with established testing methods and instructions.
2. Collect samples from the plant using internationally accepted standard sampling procedures to produce precise & reliable data to support research studies.

6. Monitor the correct implementation of the sampling procedures and schedules to ensure equipment functions properly and reliable results obtained.

The technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of materials with industry standards and project specifications.

• Conduct physical and chemical testing of soil aggregates concrete and asphalt in accordance with ASTM BS or AASHTO standards.
  

• Collect field samples and perform on-site tests such as density compaction and moisture content.
  

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including sieves ovens compression testing machines and other instruments.
  

• Prepare test reports and documentation for quality control and compliance records.

• Prepare the samples and perform the day-to-day tests that are carried out in the material lab.

Key Skills

• Familiar with different engineering materials and its properties.
• Familiar with different types of heat treatment and its properties.

Educational Qualification: Bachelors in Science (Medical/Dental/Nursing/Pharmacy) and a Master's degree or certification in Simulation.

Relevant Experience: Minimum 6-10 years of experience in simulation and skills lab in a reputed educational institution.
