Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Static Equipment Supervisor to oversee the installation of static equipment and ensure compliance with schedules, project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Review supplier material and technical documentation delivery schedules to align with construction schedules and contractual commitments.
- Review, control, and approve subcontractor Method Statements before work commences and ensure correct implementation on-site.
- Enforce HSE procedures and standards for static equipment and actively participate in on-site HSE activities as per the Site HSE Plan.
- Monitor work progress to ensure schedule adherence and take action to recover delays.
- Verify that subcontractor resources (equipment and manpower) meet requirements and that works comply with design documents, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and sign off on necessary certificates as per the Site Inspection Plan.
- Maintain and coordinate the Non-Conformity Register for each subcontractor, ensuring timely resolution.
- Identify and rectify design errors where possible or escalate to the Site Engineer for necessary changes.
- Review and approve subcontractor work progress status sheets.
- Manage vendor specialists on-site.
- Support the Contract Manager/Engineer in preparing subcontract amendments, evaluating claims, and defining new prices when necessary.
- Proven experience in overseeing static equipment installation.
- Excellent knowledge of HSE procedures and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with subcontractors and vendors.
