1. Developing regulations, policies, standards and guidelines to improve health and safety procedures for the school related to the safety and security of students, people and property.
2. Monitoring the implementation of these procedures.
3. Training relevant staff on best practices and Dubai Municipality (DM) & KHDA requirements.

14. Updating contact and emergency numbers for staff and students.
15. Scheduling stakeholders’ meetings to address priorities and result-oriented solutions.

1. Proven experience as a school Health and Safety Officer with NEBOSH/IOSH CERTIFICATION.
2. Knowledge of the principles of safety, accident, and fire prevention.
3. Ability to maintain composure and respond properly during emergencies.
4. Knowledge of regulatory policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
5. Experience in writing incident reports and policies for health and safety.
6. Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.

As a Consultant in Health & Safety Management, you are responsible for providing expert advisory services to clients on health, safety, and risk management. You will assist clients in developing, implementing, and maintaining effective health and safety systems that ensure compliance with regulations and promote safe work environments.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in HSE implementation (HSEMS, procedures, development of procedures, plans, audits, inspections, etc.)
• An engineering background
• Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
• Experience in university campuses is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct health and safety assessments, audits, and inspections to identify risks, hazards, and compliance gaps within client operations.
• Support clients in developing and implementing robust health and safety management systems and policies to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance, safety standards, and industry best practices related to occupational health and safety (OHS).
