Assist guests/employees during emergency situations. Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents. Defuse guest/employee disturbances. Call for outside assistance if necessary. Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents. Handle all interruptions and complaints. Resolve safety hazard situations. Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation. Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts. Call for assistance using proper code responses. Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report. Maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents; release information only to authorized individuals. Conduct investigations and gather evidence. The AWS Security Assurance Services (AWS SAS) team works with our largest enterprise customers to address their security and compliance requirements using cloud native technology, while adopting scalable security and risk control measures across their infrastructure. Key job responsibilities

Solutions - Scope and lead on-site engagements with partners and customers. This includes leading pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer security and compliance requirements, and proposing and delivering packaged offerings or custom solution engagements.
Delivery - Engagements include short on-site projects leading to architecture or compliance roadmaps, architecture guidance, gap assessments, etc. Engagements will include assessments and reporting on various aspects of a customer's security and compliance posture.
Insights - Collaborate with AWS engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications

A Security Officer patrols, monitors, and observes security procedures to ensure a safe Guest and Member experience while investigating theft and managing instances of undesirable behaviour.
**What will I be doing?**
As a Security Officer, you are responsible for monitoring and controlling staff entrances, patrolling on a regular basis, and managing undesirable behaviour to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience. A Security Officer will also be required to investigate theft and support evacuation procedures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
+ Monitor and control staff entrances
+ Conduct regular searches of bags, etc. carried by members of staff and report discrepancies or violations immediately
+ Control the Goods pass out procedure for any items purchased, loaned, or otherwise legitimately obtained
+ Maintain system that monitors contractors working in the hotel in accordance with company health and safety policies
+ Responsible for checking goods received out of hours
+ Maintain system that records the issue and receipt of departmental keys
+ Operate, check and monitor the CCTV system
+ Patrol the hotel on a regular basis ensuring fire walks take place and are recorded
+ Ensure safe passage of cash transfers within the hotel
+ Support evacuation of the hotel during fire alarm situations
+ Monitor suspicious packages and be aware of bomb and terror threat procedures
+ Provide secure storage for guest oversized items
+ Ensure hotel facilities and function rooms remain secure and locked when not in use
+ Maintain the Security Log Book and Incident Reports
+ Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage and other incidents
+ Manage undesirable behaviour in a professional manner, intervening and defusing potential altercations
+ Liaise with Police in the absence of Security Team Leader

As a leader of leaders, you will be capable of developing world-class BD, specialist sales, security solution architects, and partner channel capabilities while orchestrating collaboration across AWS security teams to ensure consistent delivery approaches. The role requires building and leading high-performing customer-facing, partner-facing, and AWS account teams that continually raise the bar in understanding and addressing MENAT-specific security challenges. You will work closely with Security Assurance, EMEA Security, Global Security Services, Sovereign Cloud, and Security Solution Architect teams to create unified security solutions that meet both global standards and local requirements.
This role requires expertise in translating AWS's global security capabilities into solutions that address MENAT-specific challenges, including sovereign cloud requirements, regulatory compliance, and unique threat landscapes. Overview
The Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa team is looking for a Regional Security Officer for East Arabia to secure our people and business to thrive in a world beyond cash. Responsibilities
-Support Enterprise Security Risk Management security programs for East Arabia Division with the Regional Chief Security Officer (RCSO) to protect Mastercard's data, physical assets, and employees.
-Establish and cultivate strong working relationships with the East Arabia Division President, business and market leadership to mitigate risk and serve as a trusted partner and risk advisor.
-Support the RCSO to build trust with external stakeholders, including law enforcement, regulators, security partners, and diplomatic missions.
-Support the RCSO to build trust with internal stakeholders, including Cluster and Country Managers. Marketing and Communications, People Business Partner, Crisis Management, Risk, Legal, Franchise, Public Policy, and Government Sector cross functional partners.
-Serve as first point of contact for EEMEA Managed Services Operations Manager.
-Drive the protective security program (People, Physical, Events, Travel, Executive Protection) to minimize risk to the business.
-Engage and educate employees and senior leadership through support on security awareness and education programs.
-Collaborate closely with Sourcing & Procurement and Legal to manage security risks in contracts and service delivery.
-Manage and/or support regional security incidents and crisis response events in partnership with Crisis Management.
-Support Corporate Security Insider Threat program and investigations through regional liaison.
-Support the East Arabia business in establishing public sector and law enforcement relationships.
-Support EEMEA Regulatory Technology leads for security-related queries and Cluster Briefings.
-Backup the RSO for Arabia West and RCSO for protection across other key divisions - Eastern Europe and Africa - as required.
