The Opportunity :
The Technical Project Manager will drive the successful delivery of our data analytics and AI solutions, overseeing project planning, execution, and tracking. This role requires close collaboration with the Technical Solutions Architect, engineering teams, QA, infrastructure teams, and product leadership to ensure projects meet scope, quality standards, timelines, and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and oversee project activities across technical teams, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and collaboration.
- Lead project meetings, track progress, manage changes, and ensure timely resolution of project issues and risks.
- Work closely with the Technical Solutions Architect to align project execution with architectural decisions, technical specifications, and infrastructure needs.
- Facilitate regular status reporting and stakeholder communications to keep leadership informed and engaged.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and delivery frameworks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead post-project evaluations, capturing lessons learned and continuously improving project delivery processes.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Experience :
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing technical projects, particularly in software development, data analytics, or AI-driven environments.
Skills :
- Demonstrated success managing projects involving cross-functional technical teams and complex technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, etc.), and best practices.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders at various levels.
- Proven ability to anticipate project issues, solve problems proactively, and ensure smooth project execution.
Preferred Qualifications :
- PMP, CSM, Agile certifications, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with analytics, AI & ML and big data technologies (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake, Spark, Databricks, cloud platforms).
