RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for providing the support on Project Management activities to the UZ1.0MMBD Project team throughout all phases of project execution on management matters related to the allocated portions of the 1.0MMBD Project scope.
  • Responsible for delivery of all systems (equipment & facilities) from design to hand over meeting all Project objectives.
  • Works in close co-ordination with PMT Project Manager for the supervision of the Integrated Project Management Team to ensure that the project objectives are meet. Reports regularly to the PMT Project Manager on Project status, critical issues and areas of concern that may affect performance targets and Project objectives.
  • Ensures project compliance with HSE requirements, meeting HSE performance targets during all phases of the project and works with UZ1.0MMBD HSE to ensure that Contractors comply with Company HSE policies, procedures. rules & regulations during execution.
  • Manages the Construction, Fabrication and Commissioning teams to ensure integration and that they perform to their optimum potential, meet their objectives effectively and prioritizes work load.
  • Stewards the activities of 1.0MMBD Contractor to ensure that the Project is executed in accordance with the Contract, Company's technical and contractual requirements.
  • Monitors Contractor efforts in managing interfaces with other EPC Contractors, ADNOC Offshore Groups/Departments, other operating Companies and provides guidance as required.
  • Contributes to the development and definition of project execution strategies, scope of work, schedule and budgetary cost estimates to ensure that the Project is properly planned, meets user requirements and overall execution plans.
  • Monitors Project Team activities to ensure that EPC contractor critical subcontracts are awarded and executed according to the project schedule, quality and cost.
  • Provides support on Contract Administration duties to ensure that Consultants and Contractors are effectively and efficiently administered including monitoring of financial expenditure.
  • Attends Weekly and Monthly Progress Review Meetings with Contractors and other meetings at Sites on a regular basis
  • Participates in Management meetings and disseminate information.
  • Participates in Project Risk Assessments to ensure that risks to the Project are identified on time, mitigations are planned and properly managed.
  • Ensures proper management of change. Assists in evaluation of Contractors' claims, recommendations to accept/ reject/ negotiate and final Change Order submissions for approval in accordance with Management of Change Procedure.
  • Ensures compliance with close-out procedures, submission of project as-built documentation, material reconciliation, close-out reports and documentation of lessons learnt.

Initiates/manages pre-qualification of bidders list, exercises overall control over the budget and cost of the project and each contract, vetting authorization for expenditure. Reviews and endorses contract purchase and subcontracts recommendations and variation orders throughout all phases of the project and ensures that approved plans are updated accordingly.
• Ensure the preparation of the Department's safety program on the project and oversees compliance with the Company's safety rules and regulations. Evaluates and audits adherence to same and takes necessary remedial measures to correct and overcome deficiencies.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 2)

• Ensure that the project is executed in a safe manner and that all contractors adhere to approved safety procedures and method statements for carrying out works / contracts awarded.
• Advise Management of anticipated completion date of the project for subsequent start up planning. Assist in development of start-up plan and manning requirements. Authorizes alternate studies such as shop vs. field fabricated pipe, concrete vs. Steel structures etc. and agree in consultation on completion of portions of the plant for acceptance by end user.
• Coordinate overall financial matters pertaining to the project, such as currency requirements and restrictions, import duty exceptions, financial forecasts, etc.
• Carry out other similar related duties such as attending Tender Board Meetings, reporting on the financial situation of the project. Appraises contractor's overall performance for quality, cost, schedule and safety and ensures corrective actions are taken. Prepares weekly highlights and monthly progress reports covering all engineering, procurement and construction activities.
• Accountable for efficiently managing all projects within budgets and in accordance with Company policies, directives, engineering and project management standards. Poor decisions can involve significant financial losses due to changes of scope, re-work and program delays e.g. the possible consequences of lost production targets.
• Sets and oversees observance of quality and control standards for all activities carried out under his jurisdiction in assigned projects.
• Develop and manage definition, design and execution of projects to meet company's objectives and guidelines on field development activities.
• Manage the technical integrity of surface facilities and project cost are maintained throughout the project life cycle.

**Job Description**
The Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and client satisfaction. This role involves project planning, risk management, and directing project teams. The ideal candidate will also possess a background in design management to effectively coordinate and manage design processes within infrastructure projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Manage and execute infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
+ Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
+ Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project progress.

**Qualifications**

+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure project management.
+ Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale infrastructure projects.
+ Experience in design management within infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

**Job Description**
AECOM are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Contract Project Manager with a strong background in Architecture, or MEP / Structural disciplines to oversee the planning and coordination of projects during the pre-construction phase. This role is critical to ensuring project feasibility, cost effectiveness, and readiness for execution.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the pre-contract phase of multi-disciplinary construction projects.
+ Coordinate design development across Architectural, MEP, and Structural teams.
+ Develop and manage project briefs, design programs, and milestone schedules.
+ Ensure design output aligns with project scope, budget, and client expectations.
+ Act as the primary point of contact for consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders during the pre-contract phase.
+ Facilitate design and technical coordination meetings.
+ Provide clear communication of project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
+ Identify design and procurement risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
+ Contribute to value engineering exercises to optimize cost without compromising quality or performance.
+ Ensure all design and tender documents comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
+ Maintain accurate records of all pre-contract activities, correspondence, and approvals.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services or Structural Engineering
+ Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on pre-contract design phase of residential, hospitality or mixed use developments
+ Proven track record in managing complex construction or engineering projects
+ Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
+ Excellent skills in contract negotiation, risk assessment, and stakeholder management

Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)

Define and manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management.

Engineer or equivalent Masters or IT degree with a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in Project Management with a software-related product, especially related to Internet and modern-day Information technologies.

Presentable personality with very good communication skills. PMP certification is required, and knowledge of project management tools is expected.

Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:

Agile Project Management tools such as Jira/Zoho or equivalent.

Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.

Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
