Solutions Architect Responsibilities :
- Act as a technical consultant and subject matter expert on Meta's marketing technology solutions for the marketing organizations at some of the largest companies in the world
- Guide our clients to the most optimal implementations by walking them through the technical details Meta's advertising platform and products
- Work closely with sales teams to unlock and develop new opportunities by developing a comprehensive understanding of business goals and industry trends
- Influence the marketing industry through technology by participating in industry conferences and presenting to executive-level audience
- Understand and apply knowledge of products, technologies and business to build solutions to solve for problems at scale
- Break down coding projects into tasks and partner with all applicable teams and partners to meet pre-established goals
- Build relationships with team members and cross functional partners
- document and share project updates and insights
- influence decision-making through presentation of data-centric business topics
- Participate in interviewing and on-boarding of new team members
Minimum Qualifications :
- Experience with web, mobile, or enterprise technology stack
- Experience communicating with technical and business audience at prospects or clients
- Experience demonstrating knowledge of industry technology areas and trends
- Technical Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working with software systems including querying, SQL scripting, and working with API development
- Combined experience as an Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or Partner / Sales Engineer
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications :
- Technical understanding of Meta advertising products (including Ads and Pages API, Identity Platform)
- Experience working with API documents, calling API’s using scripts, and testing API’s
- Experience with Swagger and Postman
- Knowledge of AdTech, Advertising, or Digital Marketing (Brand or Direct Response)
- Knowledge of Business Messaging solutions

What you will be doing;
Discovering Customer Requirements
- Diagnose technical and business pain, confirming root causes and negative consequences.
- Engage key stakeholders to confirm desired future state, mapping it to success metrics and business outcomes.
- Support customer digital sales rooms, providing technical input and ensuring alignment between sales and technical teams.
- Deliver tailored demos that align with business issues, decision criteria, and outcomes.
- Articulate how our platform solves customer challenges, differentiate against competitors, and verify with real-world proof points.
- Lead workshops or trials to validate solution fit with business objectives.

- Document customer insights during the sales cycle to ensure a smooth handoff to TAMs for successful implementations.

- Identify and drive opportunities for upselling and expansion, ensuring customers realise value by increasing platform consumption through new workloads and groups.
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar.
- Strong experience in solution selling, demonstrating value through tailored software presentations and overcoming technical objections.
- Expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and experience with Cloud Data Platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
- In-depth understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
- Hands-on experience with technical problem-solving and integration technologies (APIs, Linux, SQL).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Matillion products and competitive ETL solutions.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, PySpark), data lakes, and MPP databases (Teradata, Vertica, Netezza).
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git, and experience with Python.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience using Salesforce.
