Education And Qualifications
  • Completed Higher School education
Years Of Experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in Procurement and ideally in a strategic sourcing or category management position.
Knowledge, Languages And Skills
  • Expertise in identifying, developing, setting and achieving targeted sourcing strategies and initiatives aligned to business objectives.
  • Experience of leading practice techniques to include practical knowledge and evidenced application of category management, strategic sourcing, management of complex tenders and contract and supplier management.
  • Experience of procurement in the UAE / GCC.
  • A good negotiator considerate of all variables and the ability to think and act strategically with strong commercial awareness.
  • Good core professional skills (general strategic and tactical skills, project management, budgeting processes, compliance with business policies, PC skills).
  • Good influencing skills (agenda-setting, facilitating and coaching, creating case for change, communication skills (written and oral), social skills).
  • Capable report writer with effective presentation and influencing skills.
  • A strong and effective communicator, using a broad range of techniques to motivate, stimulate and influence teams and individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, communications and planning.
  • Customer service orientated and highly effective communicator and team player.

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for key categories including raw materials, commodities, ingredients, packaging, and indirect materials, with cost reduction and cash release targets.
  • Conduct market analysis and supplier research to identify sourcing opportunities, risks, and innovations in the food supply chain.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms, including pricing, quality, delivery, and sustainability commitments.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing strategic suppliers to ensure continuity and improvement.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance & Control teams, Operations, Chefs, and Regulatory teams to align sourcing strategies with product specifications, compliance requirements and market constraints.
  • Monitor supplier performance & relationship using KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and value engineering projects without compromising quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sourcing activities, savings, and market trends to higher management.
  • Develop suppliers' innovation capabilities across the region – work on regionalizing our supply base
  • Support sustainability and corporate social responsibility goals by integrating environmentally responsible sourcing practices.
  • Keep up to date with food industry trends, regulations, and innovations impacting sourcing decisions.
  • Contribute to INDPT employee development & engagement through on boarding them in all transformational projects and breakthrough process
  • Led Procurement Business Continuity Process across key countries like the U.A.E and K.S.A
Other Duties
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established by the company from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the organization.
Qualifications
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Food Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within the food industry and / or more generally within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong knowledge of food ingredients, raw materials sourcing, packaging, and related supply markets.
  • Proven track record in supplier negotiation, cost management, and contract development.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC, SQF) and regulatory compliance are an advantage.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient in ERP (Ariba, Oracle,.) and e-procurement tools
  • Language: Perfect English, additional language is a plus

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions,
  • Min 5 years of experience in sourcing, knowledge about HV Grid equipment’s is preferable
  • Proficiency in office IT suite (excel, word and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with GEV standard commodities taxonomy
  • Data Analytics and report-outs experience
  • Knowledge of SAP – MM Module
  • GEV Supplier Management tools knowledge is a plus, for example Supplier Connect, Oscar, Comply Works, FIORI, SAP Altais is a plus
  • Prior experience of localization projects leadership/implementation is a plus

Job Purpose

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee procurement events and contracts to meet business operational needs in line with established policies and procedures.   • Ensure effective contract management and mitigate supply risks across critical categories.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics to inform procurement strategies and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage end-to-end project execution and support logistics and supply chain functions across GCC markets.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, PMP) are a plus.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with proven exposure to GCC markets, especially KSA.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international sourcing practices, contract law, logistics, and vendor management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles as they relate to procurement.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English; Arabic is an added advantage

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing procurement and experience leading sourcing initiatives across various categories. They will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies to drive efficiency, transparency, and value across campaigns and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies that meet business objectives and deliver cost savings.
  • Analyse market trends and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Build relationships with key suppliers and agencies to ensure service-level agreements are met and contracts are executed efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, make informed decisions, and solve complex problems.
