Key Responsibilities:- Sourcing and Procurement:

Functional Role:
Operational Responsibilities:

- Drive cross-functional stakeholder engagement and alignment to centralize procurement, establish procurement planning and increase sourcing efficiency

- Lead sourcing initiatives for complex, long terms, large-scale requirements, ensuring cost effectiveness, full compliance with regulatory, operational, and contractual risk controls
- Oversee and provide governance for end-to-end sourcing processes including market analysis, strategy development, supplier identification, tendering tools selection (RFP/RFQ/RFI), and contracts management

- Experience in cost negotiation and supply chain optimization.
- Strong verbal and written skills in English, Arabic and French will be an asset.

- Min 5 years of experience in sourcing, knowledge about HV Grid equipment’s is preferable
- Proficiency in office IT suite (excel, word and PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with GEV standard commodities taxonomy
- Data Analytics and report-outs experience
- Knowledge of SAP – MM Module
- GEV Supplier Management tools knowledge is a plus, for example Supplier Connect, Oscar, Comply Works, FIORI, SAP Altais is a plus
- Prior experience of localization projects leadership/implementation is a plus
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Ability to coordinate several supply chain activities simultaneously.
- Customer oriented and able to operate effectively in a high-pressure environment and pressing customer deadlines.
- Ability to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external subcontractor / supplier.

- Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging suppliers to make informed sourcing decisions.

- Prepare and present regular reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Qualifications:
