The Supply Chain Management Coordinator is responsible for SCM planning related to raw materials, components, internal logistics, inventory management, process improvement and reporting.

  • Will be responsible for the forward-looking process of coordinating assets to optimize the delivery of goods, services and information from supplier to end user by coordinating with the SCM team and the end users.
  • Coordinating with Vendor for direct and indirect material and services.
  • Demand planning, by coordinating with the production planning and E&D team.
  • Logistics planning by coordinating with the logistic team to inline it with the store inventory plan along with the procurement contracts and POs delivery.
  • Inventory strategy optimization planning.
  • Supply chain planner will look at current processes and determine methods for improvement with regard to cutting costs, controlling and replenishing inventory, logistics and material supply plans.
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns along the SCM and respond plan for any unexpected events.
  • Manage the SCM risks in regard to the cost savings, inventory, logistics and restrictions.
  • Generate reports that detail efficiencies as well as areas needing improvement.

Experience:

Sales and Production Planning, Inventory Management, & Value Stream Mapping.

Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Supply Management/ Engineering, MBA is preferred

Main Areas of Responsibilities

  • Handle directly:-
    • Sea freight import coordination/supervision
    • Manufacturer/Supplier communications
    • Shipping forwarder communications
    • Shipment clearance & Transportation coordination/supervision
    • Local logistics coordination/supervision
  • Support/collaborate closely:-
    • Export
    • Purchase

Scope of work

  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with the freight forwarders and related logistics providers on the import and export rates, booking, payments,documents, clearance, and other logistics
  • Coordination with the suppliers and freight forwarders on the delivery schedule, shipping, transportation, warehousing
  • Coordination of shipments customs clearance
  • Work together with operations on receiving and warehousing
  • Prepare COO, GRN documents
  • Support & assist:-
    • Price/rate negotiation
    • International purchasing

Qualification

  • Experience certificate/s related is a must
  • Excellent experience in LCL/FCL: more than 2 years
  • Able to start handling related tasks from the start with little-to-no-handover.
  • Good knowledge of freight shipments clearance & domestic logistics and able to handle
  • Able to support and handle the international purchasings
  • Max age: 35 years
  • Able to understand our products
  • Problem-Solving Skills
  • Must be: Fast self-learner, confident personality, highly disciplined and organized, 100% physically fit
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach, goal-oriented in meeting your own deadlines with little to no supervision.
  • Very good in delivering explanations and presentations
  • Fluent in English with a very clear accent
  • Excellent online search skills
  • Excellent effective and efficient professional business communication
  • Minimum typing speed: 25WPM
  • Skilled and experienced in Word and Excel
