ROLE PURPOSE
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for aligning Space42 IT strategy with business goals, ensuring that the organization’s IT architecture supports current and future business capabilities. Reporting to the Senior Manager IT PMO, this role provides strategic direction and oversight for technology platforms, systems integration, and enterprise-wide standards, guiding IT investments to meet business objectives while ensuring agility, scalability, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, standards, and principles to be aligned with Space42 business strategy roadmap.
- Collaborate and lead with business leaders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure architectural design and implementation alignment with organizational goals.
- Assess and recommend emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Govern architectural decisions, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and security best practices.
- Provide architectural guidance during solution design, development, and deployment phases along with facilitating the risk assessment and technical evaluation.
- Support enterprise-wide digital transformation and cloud adoption initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT with at least 3 years in an enterprise architecture or solution architecture role.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, DoDAF, FEAF).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with microservices, APIs, integration platforms, and enterprise data management.
Additional Requirements
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, compliance, and risk management.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI / CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
- Ability to influence and drive change across business and technical teams.
- Enterprise Architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, CISA) strongly preferred.
- Project management experience or certification is an advantage.
