Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive financial crime prevention strategy aligned with the regulatory objectives and priorities.

- Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) regulations and requirements.
- Develop and maintain robust AML/CTF programs specific to the gaming industry, including customer due diligence (CDD), transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting (SAR) processes.
- Implement risk management strategies and controls to mitigate identified risks effectively and conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, maintain accurate records and documentation on financial crime prevention activities, including risk assessments, compliance findings, and recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of AML/CTF controls and recommend enhancements as necessary.
- Stay updated on emerging financial crime trends, typologies, and regulatory developments to proactively address potential threats.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the awareness and knowledge of financial crime prevention among gaming operators, licensees, and regulatory staff, and promote a strong culture of compliance and ethics within GCGRA and across the industry.
- Provide guidance and support to gaming operators and licensees regarding their AML/CTF obligations and best practices.
- Develop guidance to the bylaws – keeping up to date on federal and international laws.
- Work alongside other functions providing technical expertise and support where required.
- Have multiple reporting requirements into various national committees and government entities.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in financial crime prevention, regulatory compliance, or related roles within the gaming industry or a regulatory agency. In-depth knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) frameworks, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, law, or criminology.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies, control frameworks, and financial crime prevention technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Professional certifications related to AML/CTF or financial crime prevention (e.g., CAMS, CFCS) are desirable.

CDP will start with a lean team structure, a key vertical of which will be the Insurance / Reinsurance vertical. The Head of Insurance / Reinsurance will oversee the end-to-end interaction of insurance / reinsurance within CDP, including:
- Creating product constructs tailored for partners’ customers
- Sourcing preliminary pricing from within Chubb and externally from insurers / reinsurers / assistance service providers
- Managing relationships with insurers and reinsurers across key markets

Your Responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:
- Define the insurance strategy and profitability optimization relevant for the growth and profitable scaling of CDP
- Create fit-for-purpose insurance solutions for partners by sourcing from within Chubb and / or from external insurers / reinsurers / assistance service providers
- Drive end-to-end insurance products and solutions, from insurance solution pitches / proposals to launch
- Support in estimating opportunity size, including commercialization
- Engage & grow relationships internally within Chubb’s ecosystem as well as with external insurers, reinsurers, assistance services providers, brokers, and TPAs
- Prepare documentation and oversee relevant processes for – product proposals, product specifications, commercial models, insurance content, and customer-compliant documents

What skills & experience are required?
- Minimum 15+ years working experience in the insurance or financial services industry
- Prior experience in reinsurance is preferred
- Prior experience in Insurtech industry is a bonus
- Strong network with insurers and reinsurers in India and MENA markets is required
- Experience in fast, growing startup or similar
- Extensive experience in general insurance (travel and retail verticals), any additional experience in Life and Health insurance is a bonus
- Experience in developing and executing end-to-end product launches, especially through an insurtech
- Experience in product pricing, including actuarial and data-related work
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects from conception to production
- Familiarity with the industry or sector relevant to the organization is a plus

Ensure a seamless handoff to central onboarding and support teams (UKI-based); for high-value clients, you may occasionally attend key onboarding milestones (e.g., kickoff or go-live) to support relationship continuity until local onboarding resources are in place.
Maintain accurate pipeline data and regularly report on sales activity, forecast, and market progress to the UKI & UAE leadership team.
Act as Phorest’s commercial lead in the UAE, building relationships with salon owners, industry stakeholders, and potential partners.
Attend and represent Phorest at key industry events, expos, and thought-leadership opportunities.
Identify and pursue partnership and co-marketing opportunities that support brand visibility and lead generation.
Provide feedback on customer needs, competitive dynamics, and regional trends to inform commercial strategy and product alignment.
Influence market-specific decisions in pricing, positioning, and sales messaging in collaboration with the UKI/UAE leadership team.
5+ years in B2B SaaS or tech sales, ideally with regional or field-based experience.
Proven ability to meet or exceed quotas in a senior IC role.
Strong commercial instincts, relationship-building skills, and self-sufficiency.
Comfortable representing a company at senior levels and in public settings.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
Candidates must already be based in the UAE.
