What we are looking for in you
- You have expertise in Python.
- You have a strong understanding of the makeup of a modern GNU/Linux distribution.
- You have a good understanding of build systems and toolchains, including for cross-compilation.
- Experience working with container technology, such as Docker, Kubernetes and LXD.

Required skillset:
- PHP mastery: You are an expert in PHP, with 8+ years of extensive experience in developing complex, high-performance web applications.
- PHP upgrades and legacy code management: You have substantial experience with PHP upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions between versions while maintaining backward compatibility.
- Advanced PHP techniques: Your expertise extends to advanced PHP concepts such as dependency injection, service containers, and design patterns like MVC, Singleton, and Observer.
- PHP Ecosystem Mastery: You are well-versed in the broader PHP ecosystem, including Composer for dependency management and PHPUnit for testing.
- High-availability and performant code: You have experience in optimizing PHP applications for high traffic and large-scale operations.
- API development: You have extensive experience designing and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs in PHP.
- Security expertise: You have a strong understanding of PHP security best practices.
- Apply architectural best practices: You should be skilled in applying best practices to ensure the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our software.
- Domain-driven design: Familiarity with DDD principles is highly beneficial.
- Relational databases: Geographically distributed database design and expert PostgreSQL knowledge are crucial.
- Cloud-native development: You are proficient in developing software that adopts modern data architectures and cloud-native technologies.
- Docker and containerization: Experience with Docker and container orchestration is required.

ABOUT THE ROLEIn this role, you will be part of our engineering team, working with a high-quality code base and the latest tools, where you will promote your skills to be an expert in complex frontend development in Android (Kotlin) native platforms. Your primary focus will be the development of mobile applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to a highly dynamic environment, where root cause analysis and rapid collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products are required.
TASKS- Design and build mobile applications for Android.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products.
- Work with the engineering and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
- Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule.
Must have technical skills
- A minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Language: Android, Kotlin.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Web architecture: Rest and restful APIs, micro-services.
- Version control: GIT.
Nice to have technical skills (Strongly advised)
- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Caching, Redis server.
- Scaling, Web load balancing.
- Experience in a rapidly growing company in the mobility, on-demand, or fintech space is a plus.
- BSc/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field.
