The Opportunity

Chubb has setup a flagship digital affinity company called Chubb Digital Partners (CDP), which will provide holistic embedded insurance or protection value propositions for distribution partners in Life, General, and Health Insurance, as well as Value-Added Services (VAS). CDP will conduct operations in India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and across Africa. The company will either operate as an insurance intermediary and/or operate as a tech services provider.

CDP will start with a lean team structure, a key vertical of which will be the Insurance / Reinsurance vertical. The Head of Insurance / Reinsurance will oversee the end-to-end interaction of insurance / reinsurance within CDP, including:

  • Creating product constructs tailored for partners’ customers
  • Sourcing preliminary pricing from within Chubb and externally from insurers / reinsurers / assistance service providers
  • Managing relationships with insurers and reinsurers across key markets
  • Supporting the Partnerships and Growth teams on partnership pitches, growth strategy, and expansion of markets / solutions
  • Leading and driving the reinsurance strategy and setup for Chubb Digital Partners
  • Executing product launches with partners across key markets

The Head of Insurance / Reinsurance will also be responsible for ensuring the pricing and profitability of products for CDP by aligning with the CEO and the Finance Department.

Your Responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:

  • Define the insurance strategy and profitability optimization relevant for the growth and profitable scaling of CDP
  • Create fit-for-purpose insurance solutions for partners by sourcing from within Chubb and / or from external insurers / reinsurers / assistance service providers
  • Drive end-to-end insurance products and solutions, from insurance solution pitches / proposals to launch
  • Support in estimating opportunity size, including commercialization
  • Engage & grow relationships internally within Chubb’s ecosystem as well as with external insurers, reinsurers, assistance services providers, brokers, and TPAs
  • Prepare documentation and oversee relevant processes for – product proposals, product specifications, commercial models, insurance content, and customer-compliant documents
  • Review & negotiate commercials within Chubb and with insurers / reinsurers / assistance service providers, including benefits, exclusions, T&Cs, onboarding & claims practices
  • Review & propose regulatory and legal requirements for partnerships, insurance structures, taxes & fund flows
  • Work with the Strategy team to design and create storylines, visions, and narratives for partners
  • Represent CDP at industry events and conferences
Qualifications

What skills & experience are required?

  • Minimum 15+ years working experience in the insurance or financial services industry
  • Prior experience in reinsurance is preferred
  • Prior experience in Insurtech industry is a bonus
  • Strong network with insurers and reinsurers in India and MENA markets is required
  • Experience in fast, growing startup or similar
  • Extensive experience in general insurance (travel and retail verticals), any additional experience in Life and Health insurance is a bonus
  • Experience in developing and executing end-to-end product launches, especially through an insurtech
  • Experience in product pricing, including actuarial and data-related work
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects from conception to production
  • Familiarity with the industry or sector relevant to the organization is a plus
  • Able to work on the ground with team members and cross functional teams beyond leadership-related responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel as needed

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a commercially driven Head of Sales – UAE to lead Phorest’s expansion in this fast-growing market. You’ll be our senior representative in the region, owning the full sales cycle and playing a key role in leading our growth with support from a team based in the UK/Ireland.

While this is an individual contributor role to begin with, there is potential for the role to evolve as our presence in the region grows — including the potential of building a local sales team. You’ll need to be entrepreneurial and thrive in an autonomous, field-based environment, with the ability to connect with customers and alignment with our values of excellent service, growth mindset and can-do attitude.

What You'll Do Sales focus
  • Own the full sales cycle from pipeline creation through to close, with full accountability for regional sales performance.

  • Convert inbound leads and proactively generate new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and in-person visits.

  • Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets aligned to UAE market growth goals.

  • Ensure a seamless handoff to central onboarding and support teams (UKI-based); for high-value clients, you may occasionally attend key onboarding milestones (e.g., kickoff or go-live) to support relationship continuity until local onboarding resources are in place.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and regularly report on sales activity, forecast, and market progress to the UKI & UAE leadership team.

Market Development & Representation
  • Act as Phorest’s commercial lead in the UAE, building relationships with salon owners, industry stakeholders, and potential partners.

  • Attend and represent Phorest at key industry events, expos, and thought-leadership opportunities.

  • Identify and pursue partnership and co-marketing opportunities that support brand visibility and lead generation.

Market Insight
  • Provide feedback on customer needs, competitive dynamics, and regional trends to inform commercial strategy and product alignment.

  • Influence market-specific decisions in pricing, positioning, and sales messaging in collaboration with the UKI/UAE leadership team.

Who You Are
  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS or tech sales, ideally with regional or field-based experience.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed quotas in a senior IC role.

  • Strong commercial instincts, relationship-building skills, and self-sufficiency.

  • Comfortable representing a company at senior levels and in public settings.

  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

World Golf Awards har för elfte gången delat ut priser till företag i den internationella golfbranschen och fyra svenska aktörer prisades under galan.

Easton Golf fick priset som Sveriges bästa golfresearrangör.

– Det är en jättestor ära att både gäster och kollegor i branschen röstat fram oss till det här priset. Och det gör det extra roligt, säger kommunikatören Karl-Magnus Lundvall.

Det var första gången Easton Golf tog hem priset som Sveriges bästa golfresearrangör.

– Det här ger oss ett kvitto på att vi fokuserar på rätt saker. Att all energi vi lägger mynnar ut i något bra och att gästerna upplever våra resor som något väldigt positivt och att våra branschkollegor gillar att jobba med oss, säger Karl-Magnus Lundvall.

Portugal blev årets bästa golfdestination och Madeira blev årets växande golfdestination.

You’re role will be to achieve maximum sales growth and account penetration within an assigned territory by effectively selling our products and related services. You will be required to handle existing clients as well as generate new contacts and secure new business clients.

  1. Secure orders from existing and prospective customers.
  2. Demonstrate products and services to customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  3. Map key accounts and develop business with new and existing Major Accounts.
  4. Attain your monthly sales targets.

Details of Functions:

  1. Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for our products and services.
  2. Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to customers.
  3. Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for clients.
  4. Have in-depth knowledge of all our products and services.
  5. Be able to effectively handle customer problems and complaints.

Reporting:

You will be reporting directly to the Sales Supervisor.

Qualifications:

The Ideal candidate must possess at least 2 years experience in outdoor corporate sales (B2B) in the U.A.E.

You will be required to:

  1. Have a bachelor's degree from a reputed university.
  2. Be result-oriented.
  3. Have a consultative sales approach.
  4. Be able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  5. Have good problem-solving skills.
  6. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Preference will be given to candidates having:

  1. Valid U.A.E. driver’s license and their own car.
  2. Good verbal and written communication skills in Arabic.

Perform all analytical testing for process streams, sampling, maintenance and HSE related samples according to internationally accepted standard methods for quality assurance.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

Laboratory Analysis & Testing
• Perform a variety of quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests and analysis in accordance with established testing methods and instructions.
• Collect samples from the plant using international accepted standard sampling procedures to produce precise & reliable data to support research studies.
• Receive sample list and enters the test analytical results using the computerised Laboratory Information System (LIMS) and Business Object reporting software to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and standardize chemical reagents used in day to day working of the laboratory tests and on-line analysers.
• Report any instrument operating faults and apparatus damage to the immediate shift supervisor.
• Monitor the correct implementation of the sampling procedures and schedules to ensure equipment functions properly and reliable results obtained.
• Check and carry out trial runs on newly installed and/or repaired Laboratory apparatus and analyzers to ensure proper functioning and accuracy of delivered items.
• Update inventory records of chemicals, calibration reference materials, calibration gases, inert gases, equipment spares and consumables to ensure timely replenishment
