RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform thermal design and rating of heat exchangers, air coolers, and process heaters.
Prepare heat exchanger datasheet.
Review and validate thermal sizing calculations, datasheets, and vendor documents.
Support the selection and specification of thermal equipment in accordance with ADNOC standards.
Collaborate with process and mechanical teams during FEED, detailed design, and brownfield modifications.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 15 years' experience in oil & gas industry, with at least 5 years in thermal design engineering.
Experience with thermal software tools such as HTRI, Aspen EDR, or equivalent is preferred.
Familiar with ADNOC specifications, ASME/TEMA standards, and offshore project requirements.
Experience in reviewing vendor thermal designs and resolving technical deviations.
Skills:

• Ensure that proper civil maintenance on emergency facilities is carried out according to schedules. Plan daily supervision of ongoing various maintenance works being carried out by contractors against tenders or term contracts / open call contracts, etc.
• Administer the PPM plan, PPM Checklists, Method statement and Risk assessment processes in O&M services related to ensure that all civil maintenance activities are completed safely.
• Monitor and implement quality management systems as per approved IMS Procedures, includes identifying and reporting Non-conformities and liaise/ follow up for remedial actions and close out of NCR and measure their performances of the concerned team and contractors.

The key objectives for this role are:
- Manage and coordinate engineering projects to ensure they meet technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines

- Review ITT/RFQ documentation and interpret the scope of work for all sizes of projects

- Prepare/collate manhours/qualifications for the proposal from stakeholders
- Collaborating with centers of excellence and other affiliate offices as required to prepare a winning proposal
- Take part in the onshore and offshore site visits for proposal preparation
- Liaise with subcontractors, vendors & OEMs to obtain the costs for their services
- Liaise with technology providers / Licensors as required for the proposals

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Condition Monitoring
- Supervise the collection of rotating equipment condition monitoring data for analysis and performance maintenance/improvement and other purposes.
- Supervise the carrying out of the periodic inspection and predictive maintenance on rotating machinery such as gas compressors, pumps gas and steam turbines, blowers, motors etc. as per the defined specifications.
- Supervise the Condition Monitoring checking which include, but not limited to, vibrations, temperature and pressures, oils' levels and flows, steam traps mapping, surveillance, and traps analysis. Raise the relevant work orders.
- Supervise the daily review and checking of online monitoring systems to ensure that the machines' performance is maintained at higher levels.
- Supervise the inspection of rotary equipment alignment, commissioning and their acceptance after any repair.
- Build and update the equipment conditions monitoring database for easy data reference and retrieval.
- Analyse machinery issues and recommend cost-efficient solutions to ensure the equipment reliability and contribute in maintaining and maximizing the Plant's performance.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports on rotating equipment condition monitoring to enable decision making.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in supervising the condition monitoring activities within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Fundamental understanding in the development of condition monitoring programs and rotating equipment function's procedures throughout the life cycle of the project with demonstrated technical leadership and support to the team.
- Experience in applying the relevant HSE standards and procedures.
