Your Role
As a Foreman – Logistics, you will:
- Supervise labor and ensure safe, efficient use of tools, equipment, and PPE
- Interpret drawings and support Chargehands and Junior Foremen
- Plan daily activities and ensure timely availability of materials and resources
- Monitor site productivity and implement improvement measures

Materials Planning & Inventory Management
- Taking the ownership of the purchasing process of ROShell FZC.
- Keeping updated lists of approved suppliers.
- Analyse production schedules and forecasts to determine material requirements.
- Planning the purchase of materials including issuance of the purchase orders, follow up on deliveries in accordance with lead times, create goods receipt notes, and close purchase orders.

Quality Assurance & Control

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing and planning, imports, exports, and logistics, preferably in a manufacturing setting in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of materials planning, warehousing operations, and international shipping and logistics with a proven ability to challenge and optimize costs.
- Knowledge of UAE customs regulations, HS codes, and import/export documentation.

Role SummaryRaytheon Technologies is looking for a summer intern to join our Supply Chain team at Jeddah office for up to 7 months. The Intern will be involved in a wide variety of engagements that will work closely with our function partners and leadership. This position will let the candidates be involved in executing, monitoring & following up on purchasing daily activities, so the Company gets its needs in accordance with Company’s policies. Verifies requirements, communicates with Requestor and Suppliers. Performs local market search for requirements for best price, quality, and delivery. Obtains RFQ, quotes and goods/services as required.
Your ResponsibilitiesThe role is created for university students with an interest in gaining experience in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment for a short period of time. Each student will be expected to use their own initiative and undertake self-directed learning within a supportive environment to work with the team to develop goals and objectives to further common areas of interest. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Support the procurement team in executing and preparation of procurement packages, review requests and requirements.
- Identifies procurement system improvements.
- Communicate with requestors and suppliers to collect data information needed to perform the executions of purchases.
- Coordinating with other functions as required performing procurement activities.
- Identifies new work areas including the sourcing of new suppliers, methods, and practices to meet the requirements.
- Successfully source and secure goods & services through consistent employ of negotiation to secure the most cost-effective purchasing solutions for the company.
- Work closely with suppliers and end-users to improve operations and reduce cost.
- Prepare tenders, bids, and RFQs using the total cost of ownership initiatives in order to attain optimum efficiency and measure direct and indirect costs before awarding suppliers for the delivery of products and services.
- Evaluate and select providers based on predetermined standards such as sustainability, affordability, quality, and delivery.
- Develop a solid network of suppliers and ensure that all vendors are in 100% compliance with the company’s quality assurance standards and processes and procedures, and monitor supplier’s performance based on set KPIs.
- Ensure that organizational goals and appropriate procurement practices are being followed.
- Maintaining adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) requirements, import/export procedures, and Raytheon's supply chain policies and procedures.
- Prepare and keep track of all goods and services are delivered on schedule and that all goals and deadlines are met, using weekly reports.
- Responsive to external and internal cross departmental client issues and concerns in an immediate and proactive manner in cooperation with end users and project managers.
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an emphasis in Business, or a related field.
- Student GPA should be (3+ out of 4) or (4+ out of 5).
- An official university letter is required to be attached along with the CV.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across diverse organizations and teams.
- Proficient in Arabic and English (both written and oral); must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management via email, telephone, and in person.
- Supply Chain management and ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with both internal and external clients.
- Working Knowledge of Forecasting, Procurement-Tendering/Bid/SOW/RFP process, Material Planning, Sourcing.
- Understanding of supplier’s key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ability to negotiate costs for best value options in a very complex acquisition.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Ability to prepare and update reports, records, and pricing lists.
- Ability to evaluate pricing proposals, execute agreements, and create purchase orders.
- Solid organizational skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity in a diverse environment.
- Experience working in a team to quickly address challenges.
