Our client is going through an evaluation of their business processes and is looking to improve their ERP systems to ensure the technology is in place to deliver business objectives.

An Oracle Functional Consultant is required on a permanent basis to oversee the revamping of business processes from a technology perspective and to understand how our client’s IT needs to be adapted to improve.

The successful candidate should have at least five years of functional expertise within HR, SCM, and Finance modules. You should also hold a bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, ideally be Oracle certified, and possess excellent spoken and written English skills. Experience of working in a multinational organisation, ideally within the Middle East, is desirable.

Responsibilities include:

The Oracle Functional consultant is responsible for the overall finance/SCM related projects/Issues within the Oracle EBS Applications environment. This role requires a deep understanding of finance/SCM business processes Oracle EBS Finance/SCM functionality. The Functional Consultant will work closely with respective Leads business stakeholders technical teams and other project members to ensure successful delivery and ongoing support of the finance/SCM solution.

• Capable for Finance/SCM workstream for Oracle EBS support projects.
• Configure Oracle EBS Finance modules i.e. General Ledger Accounts Payable Taxes Accounts Receivable Cash Management and Fixed assets to meet business needs.
• Basic setup/configuration knowledge about Purchasing Inventory Order Mgt.
• Very good understanding of Oracle OrdertoCash RMA ProcuretoPay and PayOn Receipt cycles.
• Basic understanding about Organization structure and MultiOrg Access.
• Gather analyse and document business requirements related to finance/SCM processes.
• Develop test plans and execute testing activities to ensure system quality.
• Provide support to the finance/SCM team and manage finance/SCM related activities.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for finance/SCMrelated issues.
• Stay up to date with Oracle EBS Finance/SCM product and industry best practices.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field.
• Oracle EBS certification (e.g. Oracle Financials or SCM).

Skills & Experience:

• At least 7 to 10 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience in Oracle EBS.
• Strong understanding of all EBS modules and table structures.
• Must have worked on Oracle Finance - GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management and SCM Applications (i-Procurement, Sourcing, i-Supplier, Service Procurement and Purchasing Modules).
• Must have worked on Oracle Property Manager and HRMS.
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience in Standard and Custom AME; expert in AME to handle complex logics to manage approvals.

• Expertise in Oracle setups, data flows, interfaces (standard & custom), functionality, and month-end period close support issues.
• Experience in creating procedures, APIs, packages, functions, triggers, and other database objects using SQL and PL/SQL, UTL file, SQL*Loader, TOAD; strong knowledge of Oracle table structures and APIs.
