Job Description
A leading Paint manufacturing and distribution company based in UAE (Ras Al Khaimah) is looking for an Quality Controller to oversee and ensure the quality of the paint products within a manufacturing facility, willing to join on immediate basis.
Role & responsibilities
1. Supervise and coordinate activities, inspect incoming raw materials, finished products, semi-finished products and work-in-progress product to ensure adherence to Jotech Paints quality standards, as well customer specifications.
2. Ensure that all finished goods are properly inspected and approved prior to release to customer
3. Prepare reports and analyze the quality inspection data.
4. Estimate and analyze the additional cost incurred for the rectification of any discrepancies and provide recommendation to Production Manager.
5. Coordinate with Production, Purchase and Store department on Raw materials and finished goods availability.
6. Coordinate with sales team for any specific requirement of customers, required for planning and production.
7. Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions regarding the quality control of the product.
8. Provide hands-on guidance and training when needed, assist the Manager(s) in performance appraisal, addressing and resolving customer complaints
9. Familiar with paint production of decorative, emulsions, enamels, epoxies and PU paints.
10. Ability to perform Research & development tasks
Desired Candidate Profile
1. · At least 2-3 years' experience in Quality Control from PAINT Manufacturing company or similar field equivalent combination of training and experience. (Mandatory)
2. Chemical engineering degree. (Preferred)
2. Knowledge of paint production process concepts, standards, procedures, and techniques.
3.· Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management skills.
4. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
5. Able to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
6. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
7. Previous experience of working for a paint manufacturing company in UAE or GCC would be an added advantage.

Skills & Abilities
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 10+ years of related experience.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications & Licenses: AWS, CWI, ASNT NDT Level III.
